Snagged this one on a sale for 6.99 and I'm pleased with my purchase after a couple of hours of playtime. First of all, I probably should have gone back and re-read the summary because I started playing and in minutes I had to rush to mute the sound of the "npc: communication because it was definitely rated "R" and I don't want my son to hear all of the cursing and adult themes. Second, I love the story line. The fact that (spoiler alert) you are a survivor in the streets and have to do what you have to do to get by is a pretty fun switch from my own way of living my life into this fantasy world where I get to be a persona that is much different than myself! Here I am talking to a sweet-talking producer on the streets, lying to his face. My retorts are disinterested and lightly-defensive (but not aggressive or reactive), guided only by a will to break out from the entrapments of a dystopian system. The mechanics are a little odd, but I think I'll get used to driving this HOVA cab to make my deliveries.
One of my favourite games of all time. Beautiful open world, well-written characters and a gripping story-line. Highly recommend for anyone who likes the look of a pixelated cyberpunk world and enjoys driving around in the rain for a quiet time. There is high stakes game play but lots of time to sit back and enjoy the world.
Game is cool. Great world atmosphere and design. Gets kinda repetitive by the end. If you ever wondered what its like to have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job and no money in f-up world this game is for you.
