Close Combat 3: The Russian Front

I played this whole series to death back in the day. CC4 always crashed on Day 29 or so lol I had it on CD back then...CC3 was one of my faves, the rocket halftracks are badass. I was thinking about CC3, they were on sale, so I grabbed them both for the winter and am already into CC3 This series is crying out for more rts features, Command & Conquer style. It would be cool to have to set up a base and train soldiers, all within the existing Close Combat format and gameplay.

I cannot recommend this game enough. Looking past it's old and dusty cover, and it's debatable historical accuracy compared to recent sources, is a hidden gem for RTS gaming. And, for only 6 dollars, is entirely worth picking up even at full price. If you like to play RTS games in multi-player, this game's multi-player is functional provided you use a LAN network or LAN emulator, of which are multiple options and vary in simplicity. Himachi, although old, works perfectly for running games on here. This game does crash from time to time, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. The controls are simple, and do not require much time to learn. The soundtrack, although limited, is very good. And the voices for the soldiers can be quite amusing to hear as well. This review should apply to most of the games from the Close Combat series as well. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. 10/10

第一天无法编辑队伍就很难受。。。坦克车组多动症犯了。。。坦克炮手为什么连100m距离内的目标都不能百发百中。。。队伍编辑界面的音乐能换个好听点的吗。。。我无法知道炮口究竟瞄着谁，炮弹会从哪个方向发出。。。为什么76炮无法在20m的距离打穿虎式侧面装甲。。。

THIS GAME HAS NO MULTIPLAYER. these guys disabled multiplayer for some reason.

Варгейм/тактика в реальном времени. Операции малыми группами (совокупно не более роты) с целью не уничтожить врага/зачистить карту, а обратить его в бегство и занять ключевые точки с последующей обороной от контратак. В принципе, это описание всех игр серии CC. Данная часть примечательна большими открытыми картами и мощью бронетехники.
