Similar in feel/mechanics to Victoria II. Clearly a work in progress but shows promise. It would be a good idea to lean more into the steampunk aesthetic to stand out in the genre. Desperately needs some quality of life changes like the ability to queue mass build/upgrade buildings. Something like the war leader system in vicky would be nice as well to avoid situations where small allies get steamrolled and the war ends.
The game definitely takes inspiration from Victoria 2’s economic system, and gives players the tools to make managing resources satisfying. You need to think through balancing production, trade, and military demand to keep your country alive. The tech tree is fun too and I specifically enjoy the feature of making sea provinces useful through subsea outposts (something that other paradox games don't take advantage of). The developer has been great about listening to feedback and rolling out updates that refine and improve the mechanics. Personally, I find it incredibly refreshing to play a game in this genre where the focus seems to be entirely on creating a great experience for players rather than squeezing extra cash out of them. That said, the game could still benefit from some quality of life updates, particularly when it comes to switching provinces in the build menu, but I'm sure that will be addressed soon with the pace of patches and hot fixes. Overall, the game is fun and unique to the genre. The commitment to enhancing the game is clear, and I'm excited to see how it continues to evolve.

This game has great potential it is set in a alternative historical world during the 1800's it is similar to Victoria 2 in a way but in a simplified manner. Overall at its current state i would give the game a 8/10 and i believe that if you are buying this game you should join the discord to get more information on the development of the game and its current state.
a diamond in the ruff looks like it will be a great game let it cook first but i would recommend it just to support this dev
This game has so much potential. Already a good game just needs polish. Support the dev as it is a great time period and in my opinion is already more fun than certain Paradox games 3rd iteration of the same period.
A cool concept, but there are game breaking bugs and development was abandoned.
The following comment is generated by machine translation. Dear Developer, I truly enjoy this game, but due to language barriers, I’ve struggled to fully explore its content. Below are some thoughts from my playthrough: 1. During my first attempt to start a new game, I encountered a crash with the error: *"Pcee4.exe System Error, Exception processing message 0x0000005 – Unexpected parameters"*. My PC specs are relatively outdated (CPU: i5-7300HQ, 16GB RAM, GPU: GTX1050, HDD), so this may be related. 2. I hope the main menu settings could include options to adjust UI scale, font size, and additional graphics/controller customization. 3. The tutorial feels underdeveloped (or even nonexistent), which may be exacerbated by language gaps, but clearer guidance would greatly improve accessibility. 4. Adding multilingual support, even machine-translated text, would make the game far more approachable for players like me. Thank you for your hard work! The game has clear potential, and I hope these suggestions help strengthen its foundation. Sincerely, A Player Who Cares
The game is still in early access, but I’ve really enjoyed playing it. It’s clear the developer has put a lot of time, care, and energy into the project and actively listens to the community with steady improvements. If this pace continues, it will only get better. I’m excited to follow its progress toward the polished experience people will come to know and love.
Interesting and definetely promising lite version of victoria 3. It is simple, but fun.
Overall, I like this game a lot. The developer has been very responsive to comments in a positive manner. It still has some flaws-most notably the lack of a badly needed tutorial. I've managed to parse out most of the game mechanics with some aid from Spacecrab, but there are still some grey areas. The most important one at the moment is trying to declare war on another country. In order to declare war, you need to establish a claim on one of their territories. So far my efforts to establish a claim on anyone's soil have yielded NO results. In warfare itself, the balance of forces doesn't always give victory even when it seems like it ought to. In one game I was playing as the British Empire and the United States declared war on me (note that the AI has no trouble declaring war on you!). I created a large fleet consisting mainly of Ironclads and sent it over to teach the Yankees a lesson. My fleet was met by an American force of less than half the size of my Fleet which then roundly defeated me without suffering a single loss. ???????!!! Those quibbles aside, it is a decent game and promises to become a really great one if the developer keeps up their efforts. I love Steampunk and grand strategy and this game supplies both in good measure.
