Clip Maker

Save the guys, my wife told me that if there are 20 likes and 5 awards here, my wife will buy a case of beer!!!
╔╗╔╗─╔══╗─╔══╗╔╗╔╗╔╗╔╗ ║║║║─║╔╗║─║╔╗║║║║║║║║║ ║╚╝║─║║║║─║╚╝║║╚╝║║║║║ ╚═╗║─║║║║─║╔╗║╚═╗║║║╔║ ─╔╝║╔╝╚╝╚╗║║║║──║║║╚╝║ ─╚═╝╚════╝╚╝╚╝──╚╝╚══╝ ╔═══╗╔═══╗╔══╗╔════╗ ║╔══╝║╔═╗║║╔╗║╚═╗╔═╝ ║╚══╗║╚═╝║║╚╝║──║║── ║╔═╗║║╔══╝║╔╗║──║║── ║╚═╝║║║───║║║║──║║── ╚═══╝╚╝───╚╝╚╝──╚╝──

free game, free achievements. what do you want more for free. I Highly recommend the game.
What the hell even is this. Clipmaker feels like someone duct-taped a bad idea to an even worse execution and called it a product. Nothing works the way you expect, the UI fights you at every step, and the result is… pain. This isn’t creative. This isn’t intuitive. This is suffering with buttons. If your goal is to rage, uninstall, and question reality — congrats, mission accomplished. Otherwise, stay far away. ✅ …it technically exists ❌ Absolute UI nightmare ❌ Feels unfinished and pointless ❌ Wastes your time aggressively Final verdict: 2/10 – Completely unhinged nonsense. lol xd
Не было на что подрочить, эх - 6/10.
1200/10 free achievements <3

The guides do not match what happens in the game. For example I select an empty scene save the first camera position, go to scene builder, I look for terrain in the dropdown menu but all that is there are monitors, furniture and special effects. very frustrating very poor. not recommended.
Графика слишком устаревшая. Модели не красивые. Дополнения неоправданно дорогие.
Clip Maker, developed and published by Games For Pleasure, sits in an unusual space on Steam—it presents itself as a game, but in practice it functions more like a lightweight creative studio. Rather than offering objectives, progression, or traditional gameplay loops, it hands players a set of tools and asks them to build something of their own. Whether that ends up being short animations, comic-style scenes, visual novel sequences, or simple video clips depends entirely on the user. The experience is defined less by what the software does on its own and more by what you choose to create with it. At its core, Clip Maker is built around scene construction. You’re given access to a library of characters, environments, props, and animations, all of which can be arranged within a customizable space. From there, you can manipulate camera angles, adjust lighting, pose characters, and sequence events to form short clips or longer compositions. The process is modular, allowing you to build projects piece by piece, experimenting with different setups until you arrive at something that works. This flexibility is one of the tool’s biggest strengths, as it encourages creativity without forcing users into a rigid workflow. The accessibility of the system is a key part of its appeal. Compared to professional animation or editing software, Clip Maker lowers the barrier to entry significantly. You don’t need technical expertise or prior experience to start assembling scenes, and the basic functions are easy enough to grasp after a short period of experimentation. However, this simplicity can be somewhat deceptive. While it’s easy to begin, refining your work and achieving more polished results can feel less intuitive. Certain controls and interface elements lack clarity, which can make the creative process feel clunky rather than smooth. The challenge isn’t complexity—it’s inconsistency in how the tools are presented and used. A notable aspect of the experience is its reliance on modular content. While the base package provides a selection of assets to work with, much of the variety comes from additional downloadable packs that expand the available characters, settings, and themes. This structure allows the tool to grow over time, but it also means that the default experience can feel limited. To fully explore its potential, users may find themselves needing to invest in extra content, which can fragment the experience depending on how much they’re willing to expand their library. In terms of creative output, Clip Maker offers a surprising amount of flexibility. You can create simple static scenes or more dynamic sequences with camera movement and character animation. Export options allow you to save your work in various formats, making it possible to share creations outside the platform. There’s even support for more immersive formats, suggesting that the tool is designed with a broader vision in mind. That said, the quality of the final result depends heavily on how well you can work within the system’s limitations. Animations can feel stiff, transitions may lack fluidity, and achieving a cohesive visual style can be challenging due to inconsistencies in asset quality. Visually, the tool is functional rather than striking. The assets themselves vary, with some models and environments looking serviceable while others feel generic or mismatched. Because everything is assembled by the user, the overall presentation is less about what the software provides and more about how effectively those pieces are combined. This can lead to a wide range of outcomes, from surprisingly creative projects to more basic or unrefined results. One of the defining characteristics of Clip Maker is its lack of traditional structure. There are no missions, no progression systems, and no built-in goals. Engagement comes entirely from the act of creation. For players who enjoy experimenting, building, and expressing ideas visually, this open-ended design can be highly rewarding. It becomes a sandbox where the only limits are your patience and imagination. On the other hand, for those who prefer guided experiences or clear objectives, it can feel directionless, offering little incentive to continue beyond initial experimentation. Despite its rough edges, Clip Maker has a clear sense of purpose. It doesn’t try to compete with full-scale professional tools, nor does it attempt to function as a conventional game. Instead, it occupies a middle ground, offering a simplified creative platform that is approachable yet capable of producing interesting results. Its flaws—particularly in interface design and asset consistency—prevent it from reaching its full potential, but they don’t entirely undermine what it offers. In the end, Clip Maker is best appreciated as a creative playground rather than a polished production suite or a traditional game. It provides the tools needed to bring ideas to life, even if the process isn’t always smooth. For users willing to invest time into learning its quirks and exploring its possibilities, it can be a surprisingly versatile and enjoyable experience. For others, it may feel more like an experimental tool than something to engage with long-term. Rating: 7/10
