I've put in a few hours on this software. Fusion has problems, but ultimately I lean more toward recommending than not. Pros: No coding knowledge is required. For a visual coding program the user has a good degree of control over applications. Layout is intuitive (in my opinion). Built-in pixel art/animation editor. Lots of extensions are available, and they can greatly increase versatility. Good for 2d games. Simple game mechanics can be made quickly. Cons: High price point compared to other options. Limited compatibility with platforms other than windows. You cannot manually edit, or even see the actual code of the application you are making. Going off the previous point, I notice applications sometimes get a strange jitter, and I'm not sure what causes this or how to stop it. Extremely limited support for 3d games (if that's what you're interested in making). Conclusion: Good development software for quick 2d projects. If you have little to no experience coding and just want to make a fun game idea this is an option worth considering. Objectively, there are better engines out there that can do way more and cost less, or even nothing; the difference is usually a steeper learning curve. I am currently developing a game with Fusion because I genuinely like using it, but when it's finished I'm going to look into Godot, or one of its forks.

I have been using Clickteam Fusion 2.5 since the 90s when it was called Klik & Play. Since the #K&P days of DalNet on IRC. Would I recommend it over something more streamlined and compatible today like Godot? Yes, if it's on sale. If it's not on sale, the price is quite steep when Godot is free, but if money is no object then still yes! I love this program and have well over the 318 hours Steam says I have in it. Everything up until I purchased it on Steam was K&P, TGF, CnC, and MMF in the 90s/2000s before it was ever on steam. I probably have a good solid 3000-5000 hours using this program in my life. I've created so many different things over the years from games to applications that help you learn guitar scales to applications that track your World of Warcraft raid attendance and performance. You can pretty much do anything 2D. It's absolutely dated and Godot might be better for your needs, but it really is a wonderful program considering how far along it has come and how it started. From Eternal Daughter and Trigger Happy 2, to the CIH Virus and the user Zenith accidentally spreading it throughout the community in the 90s, to Eggit, to the now famous Five Nights at Freddy's... If you want to get into game development but don't have any knowledge of how to code a game then this is for you! The intuitive Click-based programming system is seriously great for anyone that has never written a line of code before. You can start off light and easy, assigning movement types to objects at the click of a few buttons. Then as you grow and expand your skills you can deep dive into some actual coding and math to create your own custom and more professional movement systems for characters even going down to sub pixel if that's what you need! It really is a great way to get started! If you see this on sale, GET IT!
When I was young I spend more than 150+hrs, made multiple games with it and even tried to published them to the Google Play. Now using in Unity Engine (more then 1000 hrs I guess). So, there is my "humble" opinion: better choose more powerful engine, this is quite simple, on one hand, but on the other hand is not very powerful. You maybe will be able to create somethings advanced with it, but in that case why wouldn't you learn Unity or Unreal Engine? Or even Godot. Also the price. Remember, that best and most popular (it's also important because of materials) engines are free :)
fnaf maker but epic Okay but for a real review, people both sleep and not-sleep on Clickteam Fusion 2.5 at the same time. This program can do a lot (for anything not in 3D) when you know how to work around its different coding language. But once you learn how it works, you can create really good things from it that'll make people go "this was made in Clickteam??" (I've certainly got that reaction a few times). A key thing you need to know when getting into Clickteam is: Don't be lazy with the art. You can tell what an average Clickteam game is just based on the art style like 80% of the time. The other 20% comes from the gameplay itself. Don't be lazy and I promise you that things will work out in the long run if you keep at it. CF2.5 is the perfect example of easy to learn but hard to master. Laughably easy at the start, but once you add more and more to your project, that's when the true complexity starts showing.
ФНАФ ГОВНО
GOOD!
overpriced slop. the creator and support team aren't nice at all actually, so don't even invite them to your gamejolt groups. this happened once and they were extremely angry at us, meaning that you should do a bit of "nabbit nabbin'" or whatever and find some sources to clickteam fusion 2.5 developer. and i'm NOT talking about the free version.
