About

You awaken in a cold, dimly lit room, your senses slowly adjusting to the surroundings that, oddly, feel familiar. A strange sensation lingers in you, reminding you that something is not quite right. As you find your bearings, your attention is drawn to a peculiar item on the ground. A notebook labeled "CLeM" lies before you. As you delve into its pages, covered with intricate sketches of insects accompanied by vague symbols, you find a note containing a cryptic message: “Bring me BEAUTY.” Lost in deciphering the contents, a voice interrupts your focus.

Puzzles intertwine with exploration, weaving a unique narrative experience we call “Puzzlevania” with a shadowy story to unravel and countless challenges to overcome.

Craft magic toys to unveil hidden secrets, access unreachable spots, and reclaim items from the past as you uncover new revelations in familiar spaces.

Investigate a seemingly desolate house accompanied only by an obscure voice and a notebook full of annotations and drawings on alchemy, insects, and other creepy crawlies.

Choose your fate in this dark story of manipulation, pride, forgiveness, and redemption.

Nice original puzzles. I especially liked the originality of the rolling insect puzzles, and the clock was very nice too (though I suspect that could be tricky for younger folks who weren't brought up on analog clocks!) Piano puzzle was a bit frustrating due to being a bit interpretive (with keys marked XX, XXX and X I was trying pressing the first key twice, the second key three times, and the third key once, but that's not what it means. Would perhaps be better as a puzzle if there was an example of someone playing one of the *other* sequences, to remove that ambiguity.) Bit too much walking around (even with walking set to fast - there really needs to be a *very* fast setting - I set it to fast right away so I don't know what slower even looks like, but fast wasn't very fast!) and even one teleporting is a thing, it could do with a key to skip the animation (this is true of all animations - I got the good ending first, then redid the final scene to try the bad ending, and had to wait through all the dialogue again.) The only place I got stuck for a while was right near the end, I had just missed an object, and walked all over the entire map twice trying to figure out where to use a stick (the last item I had that I didn't expect to combine with all the other items) before finally discovering that I couldn't use the stick anywhere, and the missing piece of the combination was an interactable piece of scenery that I'd walked by multiple times without noticing, not a fourth item at all. Anyway, despite those awkward bits, which pretty much every game in the genre has, I would recommend this because it has: * MOSTLY reasonable main-game object-puzzles. * MOSTLY original and good standalone puzzles. * relatively few occasions of "wandering around trying to find the next thing", though still quite a few (worst of this is, as you go through the stages, doors unlock and items appear in places you've already been, with no warning or clue that it happened, so at each stage you have to rewalk the whole map checking for differences - but the map isn't super big, so it's less painful than it could be).
👍 A point & click that’s neither perfect nor revolutionary, but it does what it sets out to do. There’s not much more to add beyond the title itself… It takes about 4 hours to complete the game 100%. The many cultural references and the strong artistic direction really drew me in. The puzzles are generally accessible, with the exception of two sections that are particularly tricky and frustrating. 👍
Very cute, simple puzzle game. It is not difficult but it has a nice narrative. Only takes a few hours to complete.
creepy atmosphere and challenging puzzles, reminiscing Rusty Lake and Deponia. very short but enjoyable. + animation / ambient / art / BGM / dub / mystery / notebook / puzzle. + 6-direction animated sprite. + big map from the start. + level cutscenes. + clever puzzles using the connected areas. (e.g. shadow from window / cornering
butterfly
/ etc) + Marvin the Marble puzzles. + QR code manga. - mouse not supported. - early combination hints giving away the puzzle solution. - still feels a bit tedious and slow with the speed mod and the
teleportation
. - can't skip the credit roll after
liberating Clem
. i watched the entire credit roll from the title screen after delivering the Beauty, and it was skippable. - underwhelming endings.
Ending made me cry 10/10 :,)
Good, but sad. I think there was a nice mix of different puzzles and mechanics given the length. Biggest critique is how long it takes to navigate the environment for most of the game, even with the faster walking speed toggled on.
An adorable game, but best played with a guide on pull-up. Some of the puzzles are just way too frustrating if you try to complete them genuinely
me gusto la verdad, recomendado si te gstan los juegos de resolver acertijos
this is a puzzle type game it really fun but short
