Clam Man

"One of the funniest games I've ever played." - Me 15 minutes into playing. Clam Man feels like a love letter to point and click games from the old days of Newgrounds that's evolved with it's team to grow into this sweet and funny slice of hilariously compelling narrative where we follow Clam Man, who works as a Junior Sales Rep at the Mayonaise Factory. The art style is soft and the characters are distinct and charming, the puzzle elements are low and you will not struggle. You will follow this Clam Man through his story and you will get to the end with no grief. Writing humor that is paced well, keeps it's beats refreshing and keeps you chuckling throughout a game is a valuable skill that is a gold shining star I can give this title. Keeping my eyes on the sequel with unrelenting hunger/10

Not for me

I would like for the 'Remember your Fired' song to be on Spotify. It's an absolute masterpiece that must be appreciated more. This is one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life. I don't play many video games so it's not saying anything at all. Best purchase, totally worth it. Play it with friends, if you have them, and have them all be characters with obnoxious voices. It really improves the game quality. A lot of them ended up having a British or New Yorker accent. Others sounded like they've been on drugs for a long, long, long, long, long time. This game saved my lizard from scoliosis. We have bonded more than ever before. I'm being serious. This game brought me closer to my true love. This game was a roller coaster of emotions. I've never been so depressed, happy, anxious, excited, in love, hated, flabbergasted, hippapotaphobiosis, pandafreenie, zebrasconis, Rhinoplastic, Elphanoscopy, chirpirdy, cowee, mareoxia in my entire life. Those are all real words with very true meaning. I aged 20 years in the duration of this game, even though it is quite short. You have to click everything, if you don't, you didn't play the game. Stop lying to yourself. C l i c k e v e r y t h i n g. Anyway, good game. The second one is pretty good too. I'll leave a review there once I'm done with it.

A funny misadventure of a point and click where most of the enjoyment is from the writing and dialogue rather than the few puzzles in the game. I had a smile on my face for most of the game and actually laughed a few times, which games don't get me to do very often anymore. This is the kind of point-and-click that can only manifest when the creative team have near total control of the project and are just looking to make something totally irreverent and funny, which I love. I'm really looking forward to the sequel now.

Magnificent romp with a sense of humor that scratches an itch in my brain with a narrative voice and singularity of vision I deeply appreciate and is so rare in the current games industry.

I loved this game! It's funny, well thought-out, and very relaxing. The artwork is great, the plot is interesting, and the puzzles were nice. "Clam Man" is one of my favorite video games.
