Prices

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a stunning, turn-based RPG masterclass that seamlessly blends classic JRPG mechanics with modern action elements. Engaging Story & World: Driven by a dark, surreal, Belle Époque-inspired fantasy setting, you lead a squad on a tragic mission to break a cycle of doom imposed by a mysterious Paintress. The narrative cuts straight to the point with zero filler. Dynamic Turn-Based Combat: Borrowing the slick style of Persona and adding real-time parry/dodge inputs akin to Sekiro, combat keeps you constantly engaged during enemy turns as much as your own. Breathtaking Audio & Visuals: Powered by Unreal Engine 5, its painterly environments are gorgeous, matched only by an emotional, hauntingly beautiful score.

Every market we collect.
Latest in each market: best FR #42, worst UA #99 · 14 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 80.14/day in the week to Sep 15 → 92.17/day in the week after.
Of the 4 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 93.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 87.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

初めて数時間でこりゃおもろいって感じたの久しぶり。 BGM・ストーリー・キャラへの没入感・戦闘システム等文句ないと思う。 まだまだクリアしてないのでこの先が楽しみ。
This game is a true work of art if you like connecting with characters, feeling empathy, and seeing a unique story. This alone makes it one of the more memorable games I've ever played. The story is so interesting. If you sort through and really work at understanding what is going on (which takes too much effort...there are still points I feel a bit in the dark about and will probably sleuth answers on the Internet), it will move you to tears. Gameplay, I'm honestly looking for more. The battles are rather redundant. Thankfully, the characters have a ton of variance to them which gives you a good amount of experimentation you can do with each character having their own interesting wrinkles in their systems of how they do combat. The #1 game design complaint I have is how there are so many times where it looks like you can climb a rock and there's a barrier that is invisible in the way. That is such a bad experience in this day and age. Maybe a personal subjective issue, but it was really irritating to me. I'm so down to see what Sandfall does next. They absolutely blew me away with this game and stand with Larian as a game developer who is pushing the envelope, creating unique experiences, and really making games for players to love.
French Final Fantasy but it's also Elden Ring. I can fully vouch for this game, even at full price - This game is a masterpiece. One minor criticism about the game: you hit the damage ceiling fairly early, eg by ~1/2 way through Act II without necessarily optimizing or power-leveling all that hard, but you don't get the ability to go over the damage ceiling until closer to the end of the game.
amazing game. I have only played for 8 hours, but it has been so much fun! The graphics are beautiful. The characters (so far) are well written and the combat is engaging. Thanks for an awesome game :D 💛

changed my life 10/10
This game was very fun, but its not a 10/10 masterpiece. How you feel about the constant dodging/parrying will determine whether or not you will enjoy this game. Overall its a very fun turn based rpg, and there are some very fun mechanics with each of the playable characters, but the dodging/parrying completely overshadows everything in combat. Go watch any clips of the 'hard' fights and its dodging 10 or so attacks in a row. The music overall is great, I especially like Monoco's theme and the 'Gestral Summer Party' song, they are completely unlike any other typical video game songs. But I found the world exploration song got very annoying because it plays constantly when exploring the overworld. Its difficult to talk about the narrative elements without spoilers, but I will try to do so anyway. I almost held off on playing the game because some clips of the prologue made it look very depressing. I ended up giving it a try, and the narrative deals heavily with grief and how people process it. However the story kinda pivots away from the premise in the prologue. Overall its a complicated recommendation due to the Parrying mechanic. If Steam had a "Recommended, BUT" option I would select that. If you like turn based games and want something with more player input than just selecting attacks, but not as much as say paper mario, then I'd say give this game a shot. Don't expect the Game of the Decade, but do expect a good game overall.
