Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Every market we collect.
Latest in each market: best FR #54, worst UA #100 · 14 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 80.14/day in the week to Sep 15 → 76.2/day in the week after.
Of the 4 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 93.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 73/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wow...just wow. I've never left a review for a game before, but this isn't a game, this is art. And that's coming from somebody who really dislikes smug artsy-types. You'd think a game would either have great gameplay, or a great story, but this has amazing gameplay and somehow an even more amazing story. The graphics are superb and the soundtrack is even better. I stopped many times to just star at the environments and go "wow". My wife heard me listening to the soundtrack and now I randomly hear her say "Alexa, play the Clair Obscur soundtrack." The ending is haunting, but better yet, I actually did a deep dive and researched the lore. The more I look into it, the deeper and better it becomes. This is truly a once in a generation game and I cannot possibly recommend it enough.
Fantastic game. Finally a recent game that is not woke, or ultra femenist, great story and great gameplay. Play it if you can.
My prior experience to this work of art is primarily hundreds of hours in Final Fantasy 1-15 and its variants. Keep that lens of perspective in mind for this review. Also this is my first review. Thanks GOTY, lives up to it. Graphic style is unique to what I'm used to, quite enjoy it overall though. Character growth and customization is limited, but more then sufficient to give you a variety of ways to play. Turn based combat, with timing heavily involved. If you like rhythm games this will suit your playstyle well- audio and / or visual queues are used. Now my absolute favorite aspects of this game are 1) THE MUSIC - over 100 original pieces composed, variety of styles and instrumentation, even when I'm not on the game I have this soundtrack running on repeat and 2) THE STORY LINE - not sure how they put this story together, but like many good stories it has a beginning and a middle. Character stories start to weave their way into your feels, NPCs start to grow on you like a little dog following you home. As you progress through the story your affinity and attachment to the characters change and evolve as things that were become not and things that were not just become. There are so many twists in this evolving story it kept me on the edge of my seat, longing to put aside any adult responsibilities for days at a time (don't worry, the kids still got fed and watered). Then there are different ending options to chose from, and NewGame+ options to continue playing after you thought you were finished. Strongly recommend to play through it without ANY online input the first time and just get enveloped in the story. There are MANY spoilers that just start popping up if you try to search anything. The game is challenging but by no means requires additional content or outsider info to complete on your own, even at a moderate skill level. Side notes: Moderate swearing or cursing does happen, a few rather revealing outfit options, and a few innuendos are made. There is much blood or violence as it is a story told in a matter of warfare. None of those aspects are main focal points nor do they detract from the game. Overall content is mostly appropriate for teen and older in my opinion
Playing this means riding an emotional rollercoaster, cursing at mistimed parries, alot of swallowing and having a minor existential crisis. You will not regret it.
niche game pretty unknown, quite pog, pogging much it's like pokemon but like without the pokemon monsters right yeah some like taht
This is a masterpiece. What Dragon Age: Origins or Final Fantasy 7 were to their respective eras, this is to this era. While I will almost certainly play the next game the studio makes, it just won't be as good as this.
The good

Music. Wow.
The camera work during combat is novel and really well done.
The worldbuilding including story and art are phenomenal and truly unique.
The combat is new. The dodge mechanics end up working well (but see below for an early drawback), and there are a fair amount of synergies and counters that are fun to discover.
The overworld. This took a bit of time to grow on me, but it's really well done. It harkens back to old school SNES/Genesis era RPG overworlds but with a modern sensibility. It gives the world a depth and life it would otherwise lack. And like the rest of the game it's beautiful.
No minimap. Yes some players will complain but it's far too easy to use minimaps as a crutch. Wonderful to see a game drop it and do it well.

The bad

The various dodge/parry mechanics have weak tutorials. The game pauses and tells you what button to push, but it takes a fair bit of time to figure out how the mechanics actually work. A bit more guidance would have helped early on.
More generally tutorial cards are just thrown at you when you first encounter core mechanics and basically forgettable. Not useful. There needed to be a better in-game guide to reference things you need to know.
Beyond that, some mechanics go almost entirely unexplained despite the tutorial cards. Overall, this game relies on looking things up online, which is a shame.
Combat with flying enemies are pretty repetitive , very little variety.

The ugly

There are some bugs and UI issues that have not been addressed even a year after release. With such an otherwise polished game I am surprised by this.
Minor issue. Occasional weak/lazy translations. Don't get me wrong the core writing is great, but sometimes something is just off.
Minor issue. Occasional "way too obvious" asset reuse issues here and there. Seems like an oversight given how the variation and hand-crafted placements of all objects in this game.
Buy it, play it, enjoy it. Oh yeah, this one is not for kids.
