Year by year, that number ticks down and more of us are erased. Pretty good.
I honestly never thought I'd enjoy a game like this. In truth, I bought it and never touched it. But after finally convincing myself to pick it up from reading the positive reviews. I have to say this game is quite possibly one of the best games I've ever played. The music is incredible, the gameplay is a blast, and the story.....is what I stayed for, to the very end. The writers did an incredible job of truly creating a tale that grips you from start to finish. 10/10. I wish I could forget this and play it again.
This is one of the most awesome games I've ever played with a story that'll make you happy, mad, and sad. And the bosses... the bosses will make you so mad but you'll want to go back until the fight is done. Also the most epic transition of music and background of a boss from one phase to the next you'll ever experience... not gonna say which one to not spoil it... but you'll know which one it is when you get there. You'll really be proud of your achievement when you win for sure.

Absolutes Kino! Audiovisuelles Feuerwerk das ab dem Prolog bereits fesselt. Mit jedem Akt werden mehr Fragen aufgeworfen, mit jeder Begegnung entstehen neue Gedankengänge! Turn-Based-Combat trifft auf die pure Action. Witz, Charme und eine Farbvielfalt, die die Welt unglaublich lebendig wirken lassen. Creaturedesign das es so noch nicht gab und sich wunderbar eingliedert. Wer unbedingt will, findet Dinge, die man bemängeln kann. Wer aber Willens ist, statt nur durchgehend den Rennen Button gedrückt zu halten, auch mal stehen zu bleiben und sich darüber einen Kopf zu machen, was genau gerade passiert ist, wird eine Meisterleistung des Storytellings erleben. Bewertung? Klare 33/10 !!!

You spend dozens of hours on a journey, only to learn you're a character in a painting, and none of it mattered. Terrible performance, a mediocre soundtrack, endless cutscenes, empty levels, awful pacing and pretentious writing. GOTY 2025 my a$$.

Somewhat repetitive gameplay but the combat is fun and rewards skillful timing. Great story, interesting mix of opponents and bosses, and fun side quests. Plays well on steam deck (with degraded graphics) and steam machine as well as PC.
