Unusable for work. I bought the original Cinetracer many years ago, and the sole purpose for the creator is to have a Steam-funded game to do his own experiments on. I would not recommend buying it, unless you have some extra money to see what it is all about - but beware - the program can be changed overnight, saves won't work anymore, and the mechanics will be completely changed - without a reason, for the worse or just removed. A very frustrating experience.
1代也是2代也是,两作都是作一半就跑了,这tm的都算诈骗了。
Abandoned.
It´s a Scam. Don't buy it. The guy who developed it, doesn't give a flying f*** about the experience. He just simply stopped caring. The sole purpose of this is to make him money. He is a shame for the whole community of filmmakers.
this is cool at first glance but the posing systems for character is bad reallllll bad like you have to pause animation to hopfully find a single frame you can use and there are no sliders to change it. the older version had wayyy more option for this than what is there. I dont know this feels like its missing a huge core idea of posing a character on the most basic of levels. I have been looking for a altertive to previz pro but refunding this so I can try the older version,
It's weird how many things are missing considering the things that were in Cine Tracer 1 (which don't seem to be there anymore either). Trying to figure Cine Tracer 2 out is frustrating at best. I know it's in early access so I want to give it the benefit of the doubt but the lack of updates is concerning considering 1 wasn't even close to being finished when 2 came out. I don't want to think the creator half bakes these programs to get the money and then runs with it without giving a damn. I would love to change this to positive one day and really enjoy it but for right now I wouldn't recommend this to a single person.
When it works, Cine Tracer 2 is a fantastic pre-viz software and one with a LOT of potential. As a low-to-no-budget filmmaker it certainly has a good place in my work flow. It's relatively easy to use and doesn't require hours of training to master. And in my particular area of filmmaking, easy-to-use software is always a plus. In fact, I've spent years trying to find a good pre-viz software for my work and all of them have fallen short... including this one! But this one comes close. First, I wanna touch on the fact that the software hasn't received any significant updates in a loooooooong time and I can't seem to find any news about what's going on. Knowing that it's a one-man show developing it and he has to do it in his spare time, it's easy to show leniency. However, I'm starting to get the feeling that this software has been abandoned. Frankly, I'm still not sure why we even needed a Cine Tracer 2 considering Cine Trace 1 wasn't even finished and, yet, felt surprisingly more complete. There were more options, props, locations to choose from--overall the first build was much better in my opinion. I especially miss the very large City location that was very detailed and worked great for most shots. Cine Tracer 2's locations are drab and seem like they were chosen at random. Building your own set can be nice, though it's a bit clunky and it can take some serious time and getting used to. Character models also feel very limited and I often find myself using the same character model multiple times because I don't have much else to choose from. One of these days I will find the right pre-viz software for my workflow. Something with the ease and convenience of Cine Tracer 2 but stable and with more pre-fab options. I would LOVE to recommend Cine Tracer 2 but unless you're getting it for free I can't justify the price-tag in it's current state. I would love very much to get some updates on this one or, at the very least, to find out if we are EVER going to updates to it. I got Cine Tracer 2 for free by the way, because I purchased the first Cine Tracer. And even then, I still don't recommend the software.
lIGHTING AND SET DESIGN FOR PRO CINEMATOGRAPHERS
все тупит и не работает
How can I add the functionality and inventory of the first version to Cine Tracer 2? Because version 2 is quite barebones and very different from version 1. Or do I only need to buy version 1?
