WAS will der bekloppte Kunde? Will er 4 Bilder in seinen Garagen? 30 Blumen? 14 Dartscheiben auf dem Boden? Keine Ahnung!
I thought, with a 50% discount, it really can't be that bad right? The answer is yes, yes it absolutely can be that bad. - Whenever you pick something up (which is often, picking up garbage, putting down furniture...) the image shakes like crazy. Making it very hard to place the object where you want it. - The game looks bad. The image being subdued, the lighting awful (you can see the different areas on the walls). - The dirt and furniture inside the garages are pretty much all the same. So you run into the same yellow stains, the same 4 different furniture options and that's it. Each old garage looks pretty much the same. - Is it just me or is there no white paint? Why the hell would you not have white paint? - You can click to skip the tutorial but the assistant thingy will keep on whining and there are moments where you have to do what it says to be able to continue. Want to pick up garbage? Too bad, I want you to sand this wall. - It's not very clear to me how the system works. Like, when does a garage get a good score? What makes it 3 stars? Is the benefit better if I put things in as cheap as possible or should I go all out but not have any money leftover? To be fair, this might be something that becomes more clear later on. - Since you can't really immerse yourself in the game (since it looks and feels so awful) it also means you don't get that typical feeling of accomplishment. Usually when playing these kind of games whenever you finished a renovation you feel kinda happy and proud with the way it changed and how much better it looks. But in this game you just wipe away 3 spots, sell the furniture, put some basic new ones in, paint the walls some terrible looking color worse than whatever is on the walls to begin with and call it a day. Even just changing the game to be more bright and have better textures would be a huge improvement. Not to mention making the old garages actually dirty and bad looking. The first garage you renovate apparently has been flooded. If so, where is the flood damage? Maybe some mold here and there? A line on the wall to indicate water damage? I'll be refunding, this is worse than I expected.
Like many people i agree that if this was an early access game a lot of the issues could be excused. But it isn't, so they can't. It FEELS like a play test or first draft of a game. Which is incredibly disappointing because with a little work it could be such a fun and satisfying game. It just needs a little more time cooking.. but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I also feel like it is really short in comparison to other flipper/simulation games? I have barely played for 2 hours and feel like i'm reaching end point already. ONLY worth maybe a couple pounds on a big sale. Not even 50% off is enough in my opinion.
I was really hopeful for this game. I love cleaning and decorating simulator games a lot, but I was disappointed by this one. If it was in early access, I would forgive most of these, and see updates. Since the developer did not put the game into early access, but released it as a full game, I am judging it based off of that. It is okay at best. It has some quirky bugs that while not game breaking, are annoying mixed with other aspects. I could play it, but I would choose several other simulators before touching this one again. At this point, its fine to buy if you get it on a really good sale. Right now it is on sale for $7.50 and I honestly feel like there are better games out there in that price point, much less full price. Pros: 1) The overall movement is decent & controls generally make sense. 2) I liked the idea of collecting (stealing?!?!) antiques from people you are cleaning for. 3) I like the idea of having your own garage to decorate, but also I saw the option to later buy big garages at auction. I imagine this is somewhat like an added storage wars type thing, which is a cool addition if so. Cons: 1) The tutorial comes on too quickly and doesn't let you try the thing it just said out before telling you to do something else and overloading you with information. 2) The bird sounds in the background are ANNOYINGLY repetitive. I turned all ambient sounds off because I could not stand it more than a few seconds. 3) All of the art in this game is low quality and renders poorly. (I had my video settings on the base settings and did not change them at all). For a game that is entirely about decorating and cleaning, I expect more. I can forgive adventure/story based games this, or even horror games this low of quality, but a game all about the decorating and art? No. Even the title as it comes on the screen looks low quality. 4) The financing made no sense to me. The job says it pays $900, but I have to spend more than $900 to do the job, but nowhere does it mention that I am getting other money for that yet I think I am and I am keeping the difference? It is confusing and not clearly laid out. 5) The English translation? I hope its translation issues, is not great and there are several errors in explanations/descriptions. 6) organization of objects... why can I not organize by price? or jewel level? why does something that costs $100 give the same number of jewels as something that costs $1000? This makes no sense. 7) Bugs in the tutorial. I had a bug where the game did not show me any dust, but was saying there was dust to be cleaned. I had to walk back and forth covering every spot in the room to get it to clear, despite there being no dirt in sight. I also had a bug where the shelves didn't count for the shelves required unless I sold them... and purchased the SAME EXACT shelves. Not game breaking, but for a fully released game, I expect better. 8) Why can't I paint the dirty/gross ceiling of the garages? IRL I would. TLDR... I would buy it on a super good sale. Otherwise, there is better out there. If it was in early access I would forgive it, but it's not.
If this was Early Access, it could be forgiven, but it's not, so I wont. Super under-cooked, and buggy as hell. Not recommended.
glitches makes it hard to complete a lot of quest
For someone that has played games like House Builder, Laundry Store, Supermarket Together. The tutorial was abyssal and it quickly given you some basic instructions. Then threw you at the deep end and expecting you to know everything from the start. Tried to figure out from the readable guide by still not easy to navigate and it was too compact to read everything. Wished there was a type search so I can figure what tool actually I'm allowed to use on what surface. After less than an hour all was achieved was getting rid of rubbish and selling furniture. Manage to throw a bag of rubbish on the beams by accident though, the only highlight of the game.
It’s like a house flipper game but specifically focused on garages. I was hoping for more depth, but after just two hours of gameplay, I had already unlocked all the skills. The rest of the game revolves around buying garages and decorating them. If you’re looking for a casual game where you can clean up garages and customize them for a few hours, this might be a good game for you. My biggest complaint is about the graphics. There’s hardly any noticeable difference between the low and ultra settings, yet the game runs poorly enough that I initially thought there was an issue with my computer. If the developers could release a few updates to address the optimization issues and fix some of the visual bugs, I’d be more inclined to recommend it—especially if it’s on sale. I wish I could give a mixed rating instead of a simple yes or no. Since I did enjoy the two hours I spent playing, I’ll give it a tentative "yes." However, I’m not sure I’d feel the same way if I had purchased the game at full price.
VERY GOOD
