Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore is the sequel to the amazing otome visual novel, Cinderella Phenomenon. Now before you bother reading any reviews, I strongly recommend you play the original first, it's free and it's absolutely a worthwhile read. Now when I say sequel, I mean it in the lightest way possible. The story continues, 2 years later, after the happy ending with the character you chose. Though, this time, there aren't actually any bad endings. There's a good end and a best end this time round. Of course, the ending you get, is once again, determined by the choices you make. There's no true "evil" this time. Instead, the plot revolves around strengthening the bond you have with the boy you've chosen. What truly happens after happily ever after? Can love really conquer all? The plot as a whole is great though, like the original, it has a lot of life lessons to hold onto and carry yourself through life with. There are two new characters, Lance, Klaude's brother and Sinna, Parfait's cousin. Who both play a varying role, depending on your path. They're both pretty well fleshed out and are overall a pretty neat addition. The art style is great, maintaining the charm with all the original characters but with a fresh coat of paint. What's more, though subtle, is all the characters now blink, a nice touch, making the game feel more real and lively. The CGs are beautiful too, as expected. Heck, the main menu background even changes depending on which paths you've completed, an awesome feature inherited from the original! The music is near identical to the original, but that hardly matters when the music is so good. It gives you the feeling of having never left! Overall, the original game had a pretty great ending but Dicesuki decided to make this, even though they didn't have to, so props to them for making another solid game, though, this visual novel is massively underrated and really deserves some more love!

Honestly I would give the creators my first-born child to have another Cinderella Phenomenon game, and that tells me a lot about myself because I have no intention of having children. So, to say that I have never loved a game more than this and its predecessor would be a massive understatement because to me the Cinderella Phenomenon games are like coming home. The only thing that slightly saddens me about evermore is how it show cases the good endings of the first game in the displays of character deaths; in fact I remember how long it took me to come back to Cinderella Phenomenon after the first time I came across my favourite characters deaths, and I very much remember how unapologetically I sobbed both for each character that died in my pursuit for good endings and for how these games had been the first thing to actually make me cry in such a profound amount of time. So, when I finally got around to dealing with the bad endings I had to pull up the wiki just to force myself to even try doing the bad endings but I also had to pull up the wiki to get Klaude's good ending as that seemed to evade me like the stars of clear night sky. If I told everyone who's chosen to read this that it didn't take me months to pluck up the courage to actually buy Evermore I would be wholeheartedly lying to you but that isn't the reason I've chosen to write out this recommendation; I need each and everyone of the people who've read this to know that these games are so incredibly worth it, and I do hope that eventually there will be others in this small collection of games because that would be frankly wonderful. On another note; I'd like to offer my heartfelt thank you's to Dicesuki, Ren'py, and everyone else who've been apart of the creation of both Cinderella Phenomenon and Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore because these are two extraordinary games.
Honestly, I don't think the base game should have been free. It's an incredible otome and one I would highly recommend to anyone. If you loved the base game, you should totally get this fandisk. Although the fandisk is shorter, I still ended up loving it. It's so nice to see what happens after the events of the main story, and it's a great way to learn a bit more about all of the characters. It gives you more depth into their thoughts and motives. I enjoyed Waltz's route the best, but I still really loved playing through all the others too! Added bonus: the music is beautiful and I love Lucette's new design. She's absolutely gorgeous!
I'm gonna be real with you--nowhere NEAR as good as the first one. BUT the first one was a) amazing and b) FREE. The dev supported us by giving away Cinderalla Phenomenon for a big fat goose egg. If you liked it, you should support the dev by buying the so-so sequel.
I was about to write my Cinderella Phenomenon review, planning to finally finish Evermore, when I noticed that it was no longer visible on the store in my region. Which is unfortunate, as there is something incredibly nostalgic about Cinderella Phenomenon for me — it's probably one of my favourite visual novels. Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore is a direct sequel to Cinderella Phenomenon. Without having played it first, you won't know any characters or the context of the story — and unfortunately for returning players, you are given little aid to refresh your memory, too. As such, it's best to experience both games back-to-back. Cinderella Phenomenon, a free game that is still available on other websites if you can't find it on Steam, really grows on you as you progress. If I remember correctly, Fritz was my favourite, with Waltz being a close second. Those two stood out to me the most, delivering some of the most heartfelt and compelling moments in the game. The game had left me wanting more — and luckily, Evermore is there to pick up the pieces! Now that I've finished Evermore, I can say I ended up enjoying the final three routes I played — Karma (Klaude), Fritz (Varg), and Waltz — the most, despite starting with Chevalier (Rumpel) and Rod. I usually play otome games starting with the love interests I'm least drawn to and saving my favourites for last, so this wasn't entirely surprising. Of all the endings, Waltz's felt the most satisfying for both the romance and the fate of the kingdom. Fritz's route, on the other hand, remained quite somber. Karma struck a good emotional balance, while Rod's route was the only one where everyone mostly avoids tragedy — though it comes with the lingering awkwardness of the former step-sibling dynamic. Evermore is a fandisk, and as such, takes about half as long as the original to be completed. It has 5 routes with two endings each — good and best endings — and is definitely worth it if you enjoyed the first game. Yes, it has less drama than Cinderella Phenomenon, but a) the original was literally free, so you can support the devs this way, and b) Happily Ever After should actually remain mostly happy, no? So, go and be happy forevermore.
Cinderella Phenomenon best free visual otome, its so comforting and romantic for all the girlies out here come get yo mans
A wonderful continuation of CinPhen. The art has improved greatly, and the boys are still as wonderful as before. If you liked the first game, you'll love this one.

Masterpiece 10/10

[Opinionated] Personal Experience
♡ While I normally don't write reviews, I've really grown fond of Cinderella Phenomenon that I had to share my thoughts. When I first played the original "Cinderella Phenomenon" few years back, I absolutely loved it. It always had that sense of nostalgia for me. It was a huge source of comfort and refreshing enjoyment for me. Visual novel games always helped lighten up my stress, and the game surely didn't disappoint, it was an absolute masterpiece <3 The story was original, unique, and very refreshing. It was also the very first visual novel game I've played on laptop, making it all the more special to me. The bad endings took me by surprise, needless to say I was sobbing. It was heartbreaking and beautiful.
Evermore Experience
Later on, Dicesuki announced "Cinderella Phenomenon: Evermore" I was delighted and super excited--I definitely had to play it no matter what. Unfortunately, I didn't get the luxury to until much later in 2025 when I received it as a gift from a dear friend that I'm very grateful for (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ It definitely didn't disappoint, if you liked the original game, you'll definitely love to see the happily ever after of your favorite characters! I only wished, we could have also seen the aftereffects of the bad endings :(
Comparison
Don't get me wrong, Evermore was beautiful, but the original had its own magic. They cannot really be compared to each other because it's basically ehm... similar to an epilogue rather than a full story. You can't play Evermore without playing the first game. Nonetheless, it's still definitely worth every penny of its price! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ I'm definitely glad I got to play it after waiting for so long <3 Waltz's and Klaude's routes were my absolute favs..my shaylas <3 All in all, I highly recommend it to anyone who loved the first game. If you’re looking for a sweet continuation with a satisfying story, you’ll get just that with Evermore (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) ‹𝟹
Okay, first things first. This is a fandisk. So don't go in expecting a full sequel or some brand new story. It's more like extra content that builds on the individual routes from the original game. Basically, extended endings and "what happened next" scenes. If you loved the main game, this is a nice little bonus. If not, you can probably skip it. I was actually surprised because the romance isn't the main focus here, which is unusual for a fandisk. Instead, it's more about hanging out with the characters and seeing different sides of them. Each route has its own unique moments and isn't just a copy paste of others, which was refreshing. it's a lot more chill and sweet than dramatic and intense. The art and music are exactly the same quality as the main game, which is great because both were really solid. Plus, they added animated character sprites, so the visuals feel more alive. That was a nice touch. Unfortunately, there's still no voice acting, which is disappointing but also kind of expected given the price and scope. It kinda felt like I was diving back into my childhood when I played this game. Of course my first route was Klaude, who was my favorite (and still is) from the original, and it was nice to see how his story continued. The game really leans into nostalgia, revisiting those characters and their stories in a relaxed way. But let's be honest. The story itself isn't anything new or groundbreaking. It's fluff and filler at times. No big plot twists or major story arcs, just sweet little moments after the fact. So if you want something relaxing, sweet, this is for you. But if you're looking for a deep story or exciting new content, it's probably not worth your time. I would 100% recommend it if you liked the original game. It's solid way to get some more info and spend time with the characters you love. Supporting the developers is also always a plus. But if the original wasn't your thing, you can safely pass this one.
