Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Garden

This was a great hidden object game. I've read many of the reviews, and I don't think it's given enough credit. I've played other HO games that actually cost more than this one and were much lower in quality. Graphics were average for this style of game. On a scale of 1-10, I give it an 8.

At least as far as I've played for now. (1 1/2 H) 3 hours in... I really tried to like this game, but I just couldn't. It didn't hook me or keep me entertained. I found it slow and boring and even somewhat weird. I did enjoy the mechanic of having to look through the lens but that was about it. Unfortunately, cannot recommend this one.

Finished! A fun HOG with some great art, and sadly a couple of major bugs. I had to skip a few of the earlier puzzles because the "interactive" bits didn't line up with the background, making them impossible to finish. I was also unable to take screenshots, and the game crashed during a cutscene near the end (thankfully I didn't lose any progress and could still continue after I reloaded). Still worth playing if you don't mind the issues!

Ein schönes Wimmelbild Spiel. Die Rätsel sind gut, nicht zu schwer und nicht zu leicht es ist Abwechslungs reich gestaltet und es hat auch eine schöne Grafik, leider ist es nur nicht sehr Herrausvordernd obwohl die Rätsel gut sind. Auch da es auf Englisch ist, ist es recht sehr gut zu verstehen, jeder sollte ja auch Englisch können und es ist immer eine gute Übung :)

I'm playing a second time and remembered why I abandoned it for so long. The story and art are good, but some of the gameplay is infuriating. Right now I can't get a medallion piece because hint just keeps bringing me back to the spot I'm stuck. Can't find help anywhere online. Also some of HO puzzles have weird names for things, or the item is really a stretch considering the name. Often click on something to no avail, then it works after usng hint, or you have to click on a very specific part of a larger item (One end of a snake didn't work, the other end did, in a HO game) Some of the spots you have to click to get into an area are so close to another one you just keep going to the one you were just at which makes missing something easy. And then the screen went black and reopening gave me just the cursor and audio. Closed it and whole desktop was muddled.
