Chess!

Requires you to log into lichess.org in order to play. Can't play offline. The game seeks to create a rich graphical experience, but in the end it often causes the game to crash. When the game doesn't crash, the problem is there are light glares coming off the board and pieces that make it difficult to figure out what some pieces are supposed to be (queen? king? bishop?). Performance is seriously held back by the unnecessarily high graphics quality. The 'photo-realistic' graphics cause more problems than they solve. When you are playing, the game is rendering tons of stuff in the background that has nothing to do with the game. I'm running a 3080ti and at high graphics settings, I'm getting about 67fps for a game that essentially has static pieces with no animations going on. How does that make any sense from a development perspective?! It's chess. Keep the UI and graphics simple. Also, the system requirements don't disclose you need to create a lichess.org account to play (saying that it 'integrates' is highly ambiguous).

Initially quite buggy - random crashing. On check, check mate and Pawn promotion. Beginning to ease out - not so frequent now and mostly confined to finishing without notification on check mate. Link to lichess.org helpful to keep track of results and outcomes.

Algo esta realmente mal aqui, se bloquea da errores va lento...una idea muy buena lo de integrarlo con lichess pero no funciona bien. Ni siquiera los graficos se salvan.

Every time i get the upper hand on the computer, it starts thinking and then never takes its turn. Im not that good so it doesnt happen all that often, but Ive never won.

Não recomendo. Esse jogo tinha a simples missão de ser um 3D bonito e eficaz para o Lichess, e não conseguiu. Existe pouca opção de customização, há designs de mesas e peças que são ridículos, você mal consegue identificar as peças, o jogo de sombras é muito mal desenhado, e o jogo que deveria ter uma otimização para ser leve, é mais pesado na execução que muito jogo da geração atual, fora uma taxa de load para qualquer configuração que você faça. Pedi o meu reembolso, é melhor eu continuar no 3D nativo do Lichess.
