A phenomenal experience that I did not expect to enjoy as much as I did. Put it on the backburner a while back, which was a mistake, because i just played from 4am-5pm and had a blast the whole time. You definitely will not regret.
Awesome game, can be 100% in 1 play through and probably in less than 24hr period (I beat it within 24-26hrs). Story is amazing with some replay value (multiple endings) and the game play is super fun in my opinion. The side game modes are cool as well, I thought the Tour the Zone was super cool and informative about the Chernobyl incident (I cant say I fact checked anything said and read but I like the idea behind it and have no reason to doubt the information it mentioned), but I do wish the free play game mode was more like the story in that its a survival mode where you can build your base up and recruit allies (and that those allies could interact with each other and move around at base) and just survive day to day, just minus the main quest. Catch it on sale if you're really on the fence but i bought it twice (also own it on the Xbox) and have no regrets. Definitely my favorite "Roadside Picnic" game and in some ways prefer it over STALKER.
In a few senses, Chernobylite is an oddball FPS - but in a way that works for it quite well. It's atmospheric, looks pretty and does a pretty good job at delivering an engaging story mixed with fun gameplay. The detailed recreations of Pripyat and its surroundings will leave a lingering impression that says 'i was there', but this goes to the point where the immersion makes you find yourself struggling to accept the wilder parts of the narrative. Yes, it's another 'nuclear wasteland but with monsters' type deal, but it doesn't lean on roadside picnic as heavily as many similar titles do. Simply put, this game is worth its price. it's good.
This game is genuinely one of the best I've played, I got it on my PlayStation and beat in about 5 weeks, and then replayed twice. when I got the money I decided I would buy it on and replay again but on computer. This game is 100% worth buying and playing it over and over again
Это игра, как не очень удачная смесь This War of Mine и Misery.
