Awesome time kill game. Worth paying 5 bucks for sure.
I really like this one. There's a lot of really good top down zombie shooters these days, and this one has to be in the top ten or top fifteen.. that I've played anyhow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ede0jB9I_ww It feels to me a lot like a top down single player Call of Duty zombie game with the power-ups and opening doors to access new areas and gun boxes and all. Nothing wrong with copying successful games and making your own version of them, a top down in this particular game. I think I got this game a good while back in a bundle on IndieGala or Fanatical or somewhere, but it's definitely worth the $5. My first impressions score is an 8.5 out of 10. Definitely Recommended!
Um simples jogo de sobrevivência, mas bem trabalhado, bastante fluído e visualmente bem feito. Vale a pena jogar! Fica aqui o meu Gameplay, dá-me a tua opinião. =) https://youtu.be/4ME-Zfr_uZA
Really really nice top-down slasher. Hope the developer can get more funding, as oyu can see from other reviews it's a nice little game, and with further polish and content it could go quite far. Devs got some talent, hoe he gets the chance to use it more and hope this game can proceed with more cntent and expansion in the futur. Certainly worth your time, especially at this price-point.
Tried it twice before I decided---its not for me. Gunplay and movement felt good. gameplay is light and it has a free to play, mobile feel to it. It's a no go for me.
Abandoned game in early access.. It actually had potential with nice art and gunplay, but I don't like the balance and pacing in it, and it really falls short with barely any powerups which really make or break this type of game.
Warning: Asset Flip! Cheitha is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of generic "zombie" assets and other trash from the Unity Asset store and dumped it on a basic top down shooter template. Very little in this is the actual "creation" of the "developer", so it makes sense they ran into a brick wall and decided the wisest course of action would be to try scam gamers into buying an abandoned asset flip. It has no value or merit as a real game. If, despite all these obvious signs that this is garbage, you decide to take it seriously (you should not), Cheitha is yet another of literally hundreds of lazy amateur 2D retro top-down shooter/brawlers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. The game was abandoned roughly two weeks after launch and hasn't been updated in over 6 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed. The "borrowed" game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. This looks a lot like it was designed for consoles, but released on Steam instead by mistake. While this is on PC, it has all the hallmarks and deficiencies of a console game, from the clunkier than needed control scheme to the less than cutting edge graphics. There's 10's of thousands of PC games on Steam, and PC gamers deserve only the best. This might not appeal to many gamers due to the lack of PC-centric design. It's unclear why this never made it to the video game console appliances it seems to have been designed for. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete PC game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers. Another unethical act of this developer, knowing full well that this game is abandoned and they will never complete it, they are deliberately trying to scam gamers into buying it by offering it on discount and selling keys to the game from third party key resellers. It's impossible to "accidentally" discount a game. The developer looked at their abandoned game, and instead of doing the right thing and removing it from Steam, they instead doubled-down and tried to scam even more people into paying for it. Greedy, and completely unethical. Doing the wrong thing, on purpose, for money. This is not okay. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this abandoned asset flip? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Cheitha has the ridiculous price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Euro Truck Simulator 2", "Civilization VI" or "Frostpunk". Quality, professionally made games like those, from genuine, ethical developers are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Игра заброшена и не обновляется, а потенциал есть. В целом, очень не плохая заготовка для топ-даун шутера, здесь нет ни сюжета, ни кастомизации, просто стрелялка.
Dymiąca kupa z Eearly Access posklejana w Unity. Za darmo to jedyna uczciwa cena. Bieda aż piszczy, po menu widać , że to coś na kolanie posklejano z assetów.
This is basically still the prototype. Very flat and basic, even after two years of early access.
