Check and Slash

An incredibly elegant game that skillfully blends chess and 2D hack-and-slash. You don't need to know the rules of chess to enjoy it, but if you do, it gives you an extra edge. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

O jogo é muito divertido, você realmente pode passar horas sem se cansar. Eu mesmo sem ter nenhum background de xadrez e sem ter costume com hack n slash, curti demais e com certeza vou tentar jogar até o fim :)

Quite fun. I love how it incorporates chess elements into a rogue-like. It has just the right amount of difficulty for me to enjoy it. the Story is pretty simple too. and the dev have a good sense of humour

This game is a fantastic challenge in the chess universe! I'm really enjoying playing and highly recommend it! I'm definitely going to beat this game – can't wait to reach the end.

Not sure why I'm only showing 30 minutes played, as I've got closer to like a bit over an hour. Ah well, whatever. Probably one of the best chess games out there. It's a roguelike with real time chess moves of sorts, and the more you play the better it gets. An incredibly giving death/rebirth mechanic means death isn't bad at all, as each time you resurrect you'll almost certainly become more powerful than you were. I wasn't a fan of the card unlocks that happened periodically because they're a mix of positive and negatives, and I'd honestly prefer to have nothing over the combo of both. What you see in the trailer is really the game you'll play, so there's not really much I can think of to say. The game is good, it's hard to put down once you start getting into it, and definitely something you should play.

[strike]ゲームを開始すると、キーボードが操作不能になって、キャラが上に動き続けるバグ？のせいでまともに遊べない[/strike] [strike]ゲームは面白そうなのに残念[/strike] 追記 返答をみて、接続していたコントローラーを切ってみたら普通に遊べたのでこちら側の問題でした ゲームが面白かったのと、開発者さんの対応が良いと思ったのでおすすめにしました [spoiler]ゲームの問題ではないとわかりましたが一応言っておくと、その時接続していたコントローラーはphoenix wanという名前のコントローラー[/spoiler]

Fantastic game! Good gameplay, very challenging combat, many rooms to explore with different enemies and bosses. A very well done and pleasant song. Very fluid movement and very pleasant art. I recommend.
