This game is pretty cute, although I only recommend 1 route strongly, and another just barely. The character I dislike the most gets the most time and is heavily featured in all routes. His problematic behaviours are just barely acknowledged but brushed over in his route, which is creepy. If we're gonna do a complicated route just explore Stockholm syndrome and let people suffer the complex feelings without rebranding them as romantic. Maybe I'm asking too much; maybe *I* have the problem. >.>; CW: Terrorism, war, refugees, death, blackmail, coercion. -Optional sexual content, sex work mentioned, sex-free & romance free good endings. Obviously this game is not for anyone under the age of 18 (or equivalent in your country) due to the content. Pros +All intimate content is optional. You can have a warning prior to each scene, or enable/disable sexual content at the beginning of the game. This is the first thing you see when starting to avoid any surprises or triggers. +Bad ends don't include SA, which is sadly too common in otome/BL games. +Everyone is vers which is nice, avoids the terrible seme/uke stereotypes. +Partial voice acting +Self-voicing (screenreader) available +Songs available in extras (which is appreciated as 3 songs in particular are fire). +Racially diverse (side) characters. +Invisibly disabled character (kinda) Cons -One of the guys is really predatory and he invades every romance route which, I guess, is fitting for his character but made me feel gross. If you usually completely avoid those kind of characters, you can't play this game. -Doesn't seem to launch on Steamdeck (will update if this changes) -Some visibility issues due to low contrast in highlighted choices. -All MC are white still. -Disability for drama; implies mobility aids are a bad thing/limitation -'Shame on you for not being a mind-reader!' route Accessibility -Contrast is pretty bad, when selecting your choices the highlighted segment goes from a black background to a very dark grey background that is difficult to see. If you have visual impairment I think it'd be impossible meaning you'd need to use a mouse rather than keyboard. -Likewise, I found the text a bit difficult to read at times. I think the font was too narrow for the black/white contrast to show up well for someone light sensitive like me; a bolder font probably would have been ok. +Press V to activate Self-voicing (screen reader). +Partial voice acting for some of the spoken lines.
You game... YOU........... How can you read any other routes after POL's?! I am SO GLAD I did his route last! ARGH! Hell... Seriously, Pol's route is the saddest one! So if you are thinking of going for him first... Then others? Ugh... I hope you can do it... Or have enough "I don't really care" in you to overcome it. Sigh. I see that this game wasn't really seen in a positive light... But I was curious... There are men and lewd scenes... How can you go wrong? OKAY! You can go wrong... However... I... I liked the game. I did. There was something about it... (AND NOT JUST THE SEX SCENES!) I wanted to keep reading... To see what happens. It wasn't one of those "holy hell! I can't put this down!", but it was... I don't know... Interesting for sure. I am already a perv, (who isn't? Don't answer that!) so I of course wont tell you how greatly detailed and awesome the lewd scenes were. Now I am curious about the other games that these Developers made... Hmm Hmm... Oh I guess the most disliked part (by other people) is when you actually have to sleep with Marc to get good ends. I didn't care... I thought the reason was fine enough and it gave us two lewd scenes. The problem I did have was.......... I guess romancing him? Marc I mean... It's rather odd. You can feel the slight connection (and yes, slight... It isn't overly emotional/detailed) with Biel and Pol, but Marc... I guess guys who bang hard together stay together? *shrugs* Kay so... No regrets. Fun was had... Interest piqued. Woot woot!!! THANK YOU!!! :) >:3 =)
GREAT art, interesting story so far, hot smut, and personally, I find the forbidden stuff with sensei hot AF :smirk:
Surprisingly good game with an amazing soundtrack, cool graphics and captivating story and characters. I expected a basic visual novel, but it's actually a great little game. Graphics: I really like the art style and the sort-of-sepia filter that gives everything a cool autumn vibe. Not many cgs to unlock but I like them. Gameplay: Standard visual novel mechanics. If you want to skip the end credits use the skip button. Story and characters: This is where the game shines. One character in particular got to me so much that I'm permanently stuck at 11/12 achievements simply unable to even activate one of the "bad endings" for him. He deserves better ok?? :P Soundtrack: If the game shines with its story and characters, it's amazing when it comes to soundtrack. Which is not usually something visual novels care for almost at all. I was shocked by how good the soundtrack is for this game. Final thoughts: A must buy if you like your gay visual novels more on the sweet side of things.
i enjoyed playing this game my favorite route is biel
Great game to play - loaads of options!
Contrary to the other negative comments, I quite liked the game. Not often we get a steampunk BL game with nice CG art. Also, one of the characters is an absolute daddy so no complaints here!
Cute enough BL novel. Length is good, the story is somewhat refreshing and overall good. The characters are decently well written and the facial art is cute. The body art and CG art is underwhelming and frankly somewhat bad. The music is bland apart from the OP/ED which is to be expected. Play it for the story rather than the art.
I really liked this game. Full of BL goodies. :3
A certain character is just awful and I don't really like the direction the story took for that reason. Granted, some people are just as awful in the real world so I guess that's just how the world works sometimes. It was really well written and I enjoyed it.
