이 시리즈의 분할 판매 삼형제 중에서 둘째를 맡고 있는 [b]《애국자의 틀》[/b]이다. 전작에 비해 플레이 타임이 더 짧아지고, 도전과제 올클리어 역시 더 쉬워졌다. 그리고 플레이 타임의 8할이 대화로 이루어진 듯. 대화만 했는데 어느새 엔딩 크레딧이 올라와 있더라. 왜 근데 가격은 1편이랑 똑같은 6,500원인 것이지? 양심상 조금이라도 더 싸야되는 거 아니냐고 미친.

Mixed. There are some fun jokes and puns, making a playthrough worthwhile. However, it also felt like they were trying too hard. It is a nice pickup from a bundle ... supremely satisfactorily sufficient. I invested around fifteen hours into this mess. All three episodes will receive the same review. Let's start with the story: It's mostly enjoyable. There are some parts that I simply did not like. For example: Everything just feels so sluggish. So many unnecessary dialogues, It's just slow. They keep on talking and talking and talking. Every single story piece just felt very bloated. At some parts it just feels like a boring chore. The comedy elements are not funny enough. Most of the time it feels like they forced it in. Here's a homophobic joke. Here a racist joke. Some of them can make you smile a little bit. However: None of them will make you laugh. And then you reach the end of the 3rd issue. Only to find out: There isn't a proper ending. They mentioned a season two, but that's all. And since it didn't sell well, they won't do it. You then feel like you just wasted your time. The actual gameplay wasn't enjoyable either. It's the classic point and click, but very bare. Most of the puzzles simply feel unsatisfying. And overall: It is just a very mediocre game. It is below average for this genre especially. Humorous game that just isn't funny at all. With the price of 14,99€ it just feels awful. I honestly can't recommend such a chore.

Ever so slightly better, possibly because of the quicker pacing. More locales to visit, more things to do, still too much (uninteresting) dialogue to read through. The inventory belt remains completely useless. Although, in 4th-wall-breaking moments, the game tells you that fetch quests are so cliché, issue #2 is actually one big quest to get a superhero license, with many prerequisites, which have prerequisites of their own. Oh well. I'm not that interested to see what's next, but my slight OCD tendencies demand that I complete this journey with the third issue. ▰▰▰▰▰▰▱▱▱▱

This game made me reconsider my life choices. See, I don't care for unfinished entertainment, so I wait for all episodes to be out, then buy complete stories. Which I did for this Pn'C. And now I still have a 3rd episode of obnoxious oral diarrhea to install, with an infinitesimal hope that it will be better. I should probably ignore episodic games altogether, avoid these potential lose-lose situations. A long break between episodes didn't help at all. This one is so abrasive that you can't look at a landscape for 15 seconds without being interrupted by barbed comments or exchanges.

After finishing the first game, I wasn't gonna stop just yet, so I indulged in the satiric writing and the zany Point & Click once more. As I started taking screenshots I realized I might as well just replay the entire game, lest I run out of room for more screenshots. If you enjoyed the first part, definitely pick this one up too.
