About
Celestial Command is a realistic co-op crafting survival sandbox space game which unites an orbital mechanics, realistic physics, ship constructor and various features of classic space games.
Mine asteroids, salvage space debris, build space ships and stations, manage fuel and energy, trade goods, performs missions and fight against enemies in large open world with realistic 2D physics based on orbital mechanics or in alternative, more classic game mode.
The world of the game works based on simplified orbital mechanics. Everything in state of constant orbital motion. Perform orbital maneuvers and keep your space ships on stable orbits to prevent crashing on a planet or loosing ship in deep space.
The physics simulates in 2D space, this makes flying and navigation enjoyable and easy but also generates a lot of interesting situations due physical collisions which are more often in 2D space than in 3D.
Explore a procedural galaxy filled with various types of stars, black holes, planets, asteroids, space stations and other interesting things which we will constantly add in the future.

You can build your own ship part by part. Each part of the ship is individual, it has own functions and parameters. Therefore, abilities of your ship are completely dependent on the modules from which it is assembled. You can build small explorers, large industrial ships, carriers, defense satellites or whatever you want.
Each module can be detached or attached to the ship right on the fly, which allows to transform your ship using found modules.
All resources of the ship are limited. Including fuel, energy, ammo and construction materials, so store them and use them wisely.
You are not bound to a single ship. You can build as many ships and space stations as you want. And you can switch control between them anytime. Also it is possible to control your ships not only directly, but also giving movement orders.
Mine asteroids for useful resources or salvage wreckage of broken ships in order to build new modules and produce fuel.
Build various types of devices to fight against enemies. Cannons, lasers, rockets, shields and more.

I want to love be able to love this game, I really do... This game has tons of potential if only the devs would give it the time. Most interactions are broken, systems won't work, the game will freeze, or you will get stuck on a broken playthrough. Building your ship piece by piece is awesome, but I feel like it will never be more than that. Maybe someday this will be good again.
От игры осталась одна оболочка. Вырезали весь контент.
DEAD GAME AFTER 11 YEARS ZERO UPDATES AND DROPPED LIKE EVERY OTHER EARLY RELEASE
I gave the game enough time, devs quietly ghosted Celestial Command and moved on to a cafe simulator game that is currently not on steam, and under a different developer name. Celestial Command is abandonware, BUYER BEWARE. last they ever posted a notice for the game, they said their country was at war and the game update was delayed. well, they're back, and they're not even working on the game. Update:5/21/2026 They quietly left their patreon for this game open the entire time they weren't working on it, accepting all the money that flowed through it. Now and only now that they have finally glanced back at this game and made an announcement it is "completely paused for an indefinite period of time. However, it is not abandoned completely," have they closed the Patreon. They have effectively accepted money for doing nothing. Money explicitly meant to help the development of this game went somewhere else. despite being in a country at war and being so stricken financially, the developers game library has grown quite steadily!
Avoid this game, and any other game that has ever been released, or will be released by either of developers. The review is about the state of the game as of 3rd September 2025. The game has been abandoned by the developers. Initially the developers blamed the halt in development for Ukraine-Russia conflict. The concern was the complete lack of any communication for prolonged periods of time. Before halt of development 2d variant of the game was replaced with 3d world, which led to rewrites and loss of functionality (including multiplayer, which was one of primary reasons why I even got the license of the game in the first place). Functionality that has never been restored in mainline version, While the conflict still rages on, and would be a good excuse for reasoning for lack fo updates... The issue is the developers (2 out of 3 at very least) have released a different game in the meantime, and provide no communication whatsoever on Celestial Command.
Having read the threads, including input from the developers themselves, this game has been abandoned due to commercial failure, nothing more. Obviously, cannot recommend. Boycott "Early Access"
devs abandonned the game. They launch a new one ( cafemart simulator ) and already stoped development....
Dead game. Not worth the pricetag as is.
if development of this game ever starts again like the devs say then i recommend it, its got alot of interesting systems and the update they were workign on promised some interesting additions, i hope more peoepl get to see this game and get to try it out
