Catty & Batty: The Spirit Guide

Catty & Batty: The Spirit Guide is a puzzle game from Philipp Lehner AKA. muddasheep, who made Halfquake, a mod for Half-Life 1 that is all about torturing the player in the most sadistic ways possible. This game is the complete opposite of that. This is probably the most chill game I played, the art and music of the game are cheerful, the story is cute and gameplay starts off simple then becomes a tad complicated but never too difficult. Goal of the game is to get the spirits to a gate by using boxes (later on different mechanics) to control the way they go. What makes this game fun is how every level differs from each other, a lot levels introduce new mechanics that only are there just for one level so they don't outstay their welcome. The art is superb, manages to look cute and cheerful by being completely colorless. Music is amazing, doesn't sound repetitive and has a nice rhythm to it, if you aren't planning to play the game i'd suggest checking it out, or any other music from muddasheep because it's really unique. Story fits in perfectly with the rest of the game, every level has it's own cutscene to explain new things and/or progress the story. Also this game can be played by two players either on the same keyboard or using remote play. It's perfect to play with someone who perhaps has never played video games. Also the creator of this game dedicates it to his wife, and if that's not the most romantic thing you've ever seen, then I don't know what it is. BUY IT! IT'S SUPER CHEAP!

New work from the Master! Not so much sadism here, but it's a cool game anyway :-D Characters are really lovely, puzzles are interesting! Worth to play!

The game is, in itself, a relatively simple, relaxing puzzle-style one, with simple visuals. Do not let it fool you, however - the developer put his heart and soul into this product, and as you start to go through the story, as well as listen to in-game music, you will start to feel those emotions of adventure going, as you proceed through the stages. The entire game took me 3 hours overall to get through, both normal and NG+ stages, but for me, those were the best 3 hours spent in the game, with emotional impact that was and still is rare for me. Literally crying here, understanding that adventure is over.

A wonderful short adventure about Catty and Batty using all the carboard boxes in the world to help a bunch of spirits to get home. Everything in this game is charming - from hand drawn characters sprites to piano music. Puzzles are inventive, you getting a new stuff every level, but they're not hardcore, you can literally complete the whole game in one evening. A perfect gift to someone you like and an oppotrunity to spend a relaxing and fun night playing it in Co-op. <3

This game is amazing if you want to play a nice small puzzle game, it's really intuitive with all the puzzles. I loved it. <3

A neat little indie game with a somewhat simple gameplay loop and wonderful hand drawn sprites, 100% worth it just for the style. >)

Charming little puzzle game where you [strike]herd cats[/strike] build paths for spirits, with original art and music. It looks sharp and has tight controls, so frustration will mostly come from you putting the box in the wrong square and letting spirits scatter away from your perfectly built path. If you haven't followed the development, you should know that the game is VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. Once you understand the level's mechanic it is usually obvious what to do. For hardcore puzzle lovers C&B may feel boring.

Un juego simple y corto pero muy divertido y tierno. Es el juego perfecto para estar sentado en el sillón y jugarlo con alguien en una tarde/noche. Los personajes son muy lindos y la música es muy relajante, 100% recomendado!
