Cat Clean Ocean

If you liked Loddlenaut, you will find this one okay/meh. It tries to put it's own catty spin on the ocean-cleaning formula. It isn't a bad game, but it isn't great, either. The achievements don't pop until you close the game, rather than during play. Since I played the demo before purchasing the full game, I had to restart to get the initial achievements as they wouldn't register. In short, if you have to choose between Loddlenaut and Cat Clean Ocean, pick Loddlenaut. Otherwise, it will still somewhat satisfy that cleaning itch, albeit without cute critters to care for.

2025年にプレイした時、日本語環境下での「ほとんど□の文字化けとなっている」不具合がとうとう解消されましたので、腰を据えてガッツリお掃除して来ましたよ〜。 汚れの塊をギュポギュポと吸い込んでいく様子を眺めるのは至福の時でした！ コンセプトと可愛いキャラクターデザインは良かったのですが、残念な部分が目立つので辛口レビューを残します。 ごめんなさいね。 ネタバレになってしまうので以下全てスポイラー [spoiler] 最終ステージまでしっかり綺麗にしましたが、スタッフロールやエピローグは用意されておらず、オペレーターに褒められるセリフが小窓でちょっと出るだけでおしまいです。 背景を知れるようなストーリーも別になくて、エリアの簡単なご紹介文が出る程度。 どのエリアを綺麗にしても得られる情報はとても薄味……。 こんなに綺麗になりました！といった比較もなにもありませんから、なんだか達成感が薄かったです。 このような明確な終わりポイントがないゲームソフトには「無限に遊ばせるための工夫」が必要だと思うのですが、残念ながら本作にはリプレイしたくなるような要素が全然見当たりませんでした。 筆者はゲームが上手な方ではないため実績すべおめには拘らないのですが、単調操作の短編ゲームは嫌いじゃないので、簡単だったら折角なので…と思ってやり込むつもりでいました。 しかし、本作は資源ゴミは少量ながら無限に出るものの、一度吸い込み切った箇所の汚れは2度と復活しませんので、全てのエリアをクリアしてしまうと単調の域を超えて虚無みが強い。 無限にゴミが出るとは言え、復活する量があまりに少量すぎて想像以上に時間がかかりますし、汚れを吸い切ってしまうともう何一つ出てこないというクソ仕様のせいでこれ以上吸うところを見ることができないお掃除ツールを最大までアップグレードするのは精神的にしんどくて、挫けそうになりました。 筆者と同じように残りあと1個の所で匙を投げてしまいたくなる人も多いかと存じます。 [/spoiler]

A relaxing and chill singleplayer game, it's worth playing for a couple of hours.

It's an extremely comfy and relaxing game about a chad cat cleaning up the ocean. Beautiful scenery and satisfying sound effects.

Calm and cozy gameplay. Perfect for a cup of tea in the evening.

This game is not enjoyable at all, since the very beginning it is very sluggish, confusing, slow and just not fun. Maybe its just not for me, and i dont want to hate on it because its not objectively bad, i just didnt like it. And i do like slow games, i love cleaning games, this one just immedietaly was not for me
