About
Sokobos is a minimalistic, brain-twisting puzzle game that expands on the classic block-pushing Sokoban formula. You'll be assembling anything from pillars to gardens and even an ancient Greek temple.
Be it statues or pillars, they all have a beginning, middle and end. Push each part to its destination.
Some parts need to be painted first, color them by pushing them into the paint.
There are obstacles you must push away, be careful where you move them away to though.
You took an oath to the Greek gods. You're blessed with inhuman strength and tasked with building a temple for Zeus all by yourself. Once this task is complete, your town will flourish and outshine even the Athens. However, this is a tale of Greek tragedy, not everything will go as planned.

60 challenging levels
Infinite undos
Unique mechanics not found in other Sokoban titles
Optional move optimisation mode with a leaderboard system
Colorblind support; Trichromatic, Dichromatic and Monochromatic options.
[th] Review by Gaming Masterpieces - The greatest games of all time on Steam. [/th]
Is this game a masterpiece? Simple 8-bit visuals, no ultrawidescreen support, no voiceovers, no... hey, it's a simple indie game. It is just a nice little Sokoban clone, push things to their intended place, sometimes coloring them first, to win a level. That's it, and sometimes you do not need more. If you want a 100+ hours masterpiece play Elden Ring. Conclusion: Relaxing little Sokoban clone.
PROS;
+ Gameplay may be simply push this, push that to match a given structure… But how it’s done through introducing new mechanics such as playing with color paints, new obstacles and scenes that get more massive and godlier! Alongside incorporating a competitive edge that compares your struggles against other players. Now it’s ON~ + Flat, minimal objects but certainly possess that sophisticated flair. Despite the messiness at the onset of every level, the finished product itself is truly something *chefs kiss*- like a work of HEART~ + Chill, exotic music to get your architectural drive and planning ahead on the move~ + Lucky me, the story is just as passionate and deals with paying tribute to a god. But at what cost? Tackling themes of honing one’s craft, faith, abandonment and love. Which is more than I had expected for a game in this genre~ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789599828
CONS;
- One I can think of is that users not acquainted with the puzzle genre may not stay long enough to see its out-the-box brilliance. And I too am guilty of this in that they pose too much of a trial for me… Someone with a short attention span~ - Another would be that it sticks to the whole convention and appeal of sokobans by being one-sided. The inability to pull objects is a big whoopsie and no-brainer to me… Is it so wrong to want to try something same but different? Think about it, wouldn’t it in fact pose another hurdle as the act of pulling would itself constitute as yet another move to be counted~ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789600339
BUGS;
x Just built… differently! None to report.
NITPICKS;
~ Alternate game mode of casual puzzle solving. Where no moves are being recorded… It may just be for show, but it makes all the difference. ~ Alternate game mode of ONLY pulling! ~ The levels skipped over won’t be saved and have to manually unlocked again once you quit the game. Until you actually properly solve the one you were stuck at that is… ~ There’s an undo but no “redo” function which is incomprehensible in my mind! ~ Give players the option to stop and take in what they’ve accomplished when they succeed in a level. And maybe popping the “next level” option somewhere inconspicuous when they’re ready to proceed.
VERDICT:
"If you like pushy, testy strategy titles and am looking for your next project to pour loads of time in. If you’d love to step away, admire the fruits of your labor but still be able to put your back into it and power through 60 procedurally challenging and creative levels. Then this will give you the ZEUS you need to quench that brainy thirst~" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789601084
4 / 5

Honoring the chiseled developer Daisy Games with a STATUTE of no limitations

Don't forget to follow my curator DaRevieweD for more games!!
This looks simple but it's delicious and hardcore in ways I didn't expect AT ALL when i grabbed it. The first puzzle looked trivial, the second one caused me to fail once as i underestimated, and by the third one i had been brutalized quite a few time by the game. Based on the japanese sokoban, but with a greek twist (that i quite liked), this game is a hell of a challenge for just a handful of euro. A good surprise, one I recommend you to try as well!
Ok, first and foremost: I am not a puzzle game person. I never(ok this is a lie) play puzzle games and I am pretty bad at them. I like shooty games with explosions. Having said this, Somewhere in the past I was bored and tried out one of Daisy Games other games, Dark Sheep. Being almost 40 I am a retro kid and I was instantly hooked by the Puzzle + Retro Style + Storytelling of the game. Then came Dark Crypt, another puzzle game with a pretty similar recipe that I really loved and enjoyed. So I was very delighted to finally see a new game be announced and released today. Again, it's the same recipe and again a different puzzle twist! As I said, I am pretty bad at puzzle games and at the point of this review I did not play the whole game. I have the feeling my brain starts steaming and cooking after 30 minutes of playing Sokobos, but I am curious what comes next, how the story unfolds and what (hopefully crazy twisted) end the game will have this time! So, getting to the meat of the review. For the price it's a fantastic value! I really enjoy the setting and again the graphics and overall presentation of the game. So far I enjoyed every minute of the game. I have the feeling that it is quite a bit harder than the other games I played from Daisy Games before. So a bit more on the hard side. Again a cool story that slowly unfolds, I love that aspect in puzzle games and it's the only reason I play a puzzle game at all :D If you're looking for a cool take on the Sokoban genre, definitely get this game!
I've played all of Daisy Games' Sokobon titles - you should also check out Dark Sheep and Dark Crypt - but this one might be my favourite. Simple design with some neat touches like rotating tiles and colour-changing paint, consistently challenging difficulty but not too demanding (the fewest possible moves are shown at the end of the level but they're not mandatory for gameplay or achievements,) and the levels feel more open-ended with multiple solutions to use, rather than having to constantly retry until you figure out the only way to succeed. You can undo as many moves as you like, or restart the puzzles instantly. A fun and rewarding way to spend 5-7 hours, well worth the low asking price. The DLC is well-worth playing too.
Sokobos is a puzzle game about building a temple. You're given blocks to move around and match onto blueprint squares. The trick is moving them in order so as not to block yourself from placing the next piece. In concept, it's brutally simple. In practice, it's extremely clever and challenging. It's all backdropped against a charming story of an ancient greek fellow on a mission from the gods. If you enjoy simple yet challenging puzzle games, Sokobos is a good buy.
The latest game from the Dark developer himself. Why do every game have to end with tragedy? I don't know. This game is more about pure gameplay and planning. I was surprised by how many twists there is in the gameplay, from rotators to paint puddles, and the mix between floor building and wall building, because yes, you will be building temples and gardens for the wrathful Zeus.
Straightforward but challenging puzzle game. Visuals are simple but with some levels being pretty big and complex, I see it as a positive. If you're a fan of puzzle games this one is a solid recommend.
Completed all 90 levels including dlc - a great sokoban puzzel game!!
