This game has potential to become something better in the future, however currently the game isn't nearly as challenging as it should be and isn't very complex at all. The games units are all of the place as well, with the infantry being Roman foot soldiers and for some reason containing very futuristic tanks and bombers and it is not very balanced. The game is lacking in content and is nowhere near worth the $10 price tag currently on it, $5 would be a lot more reasonable for the current state of the game. Like I said earlier, this game has potential, but for now I'm getting a refund, but will check periodically on the game to see how its improved.
I kickstarter this game, I know it is early access still but I have some issues with it. I played 3 games on Easy mode to start. 1. No tutorial, I started the game and built buildings over and over thinking they would auto create units or auto spawn so many. After awhile i learned you simply just click a building and build the units. 2. Combat is super buggy. If you send 1 tank against 3 foot soldiers it loses, it wont even kill one. I had to have nearly 10 tanks stacked on-top of one another in order to do anything. Aircraft units, these are even buggier. I had a "fleet" size of 46 and attacked a 1 unit defended chunk. I massacred my framerate! so many bombs dropped that the bombs were colliding with each other and going all over the screen, worst part of all of this... I would always lose a minimum of 3 units regardless of my defenders army size. 3. Winning; simply crashes the game. 4. and this was by far the second most annoying thing, buildings as a whole. Not textures, not models (though they need to be upgraded) I am talking about placement. I found a way to stack buildings ontop of buildings ontop of buildings and then click some and even managed to build some buildings OUTSIDE of the buildzone. Another thing that pissed me right off was the units that spawn at your "camp", they will block you from putting down more buildings. I had to rotate the camera, drag the cursor away and back and then rotate the buildings. This is how I learned to break the building of structures. Also you will never need more than 2 of any buildings really though, so I found the lack of building types to be disappointing. 5. Attacking/Defending. Again its Early Access, but there is no city taking, this is like RISK-capital gamemode, you can't get a second base, so starting in spain is a horrid choice. Start in italy or some central location so you can move left/right without having to go the whole map. In this games early state, I will sadly not recommend it. More maps, better user interface, combat, and graphics for the buildings and units can improve this game. the concept is nice, but maybe it needs a bit more. Multiple camps, some other way to increase your income other than land conquest. Add a user interface option to build units at the bottom of the screen in the camp menu so I dont have to click each building to build a unit, that is extremely tedious. I will gladly sponser indie developers and I hope my review is more of a critique to the dev rather than a trash review. Please keep updating this game so I can come back to it for another go.

The basic structure is very solid. It has its weaknesses, but also its strengths. If you're still a little bit afraid of it now, then you should at least put it on your wish list. The developer is constantly trying to fix the bugs, usually the same day. Alone through the previous version the developer and I have corrected some bugs together and this always went smoothly and very fast. The principle is simple: you have a base, you have to extend it. Per round you get resources, which you send into buildings or troops. You conquer other regions via a world map. The AI is also a bit demanding, the only thing I miss at the moment is the multiplayer and a few more buildings. But all in all it is recommendable in its current state and for the current price.
Good concept, but abandoned.
Pretty good game, As a strategy lover: I loved the concept. It's like risk but better because it's not stupid dice. Still needs work but i bet it'll be good! kinda weird going from swords to tanks.... so maybe get a building that lets you "age up" or something idk.
