Castle Chaos

Has potential as a local multiplayer port of Rampart, but unfortunately suffers from lack of full controller support, unintuitive gameplay and vague instructions. Worth a shot but hard to recommend for these reasons. Try Cannon Brawl instead.

Having a deadline in every stage is not fun game design.

It is a real fun game that is very promising

I don't get it....I wall myself in.....no openins.....and I lose the match even when fully walled in....like...I rarely put up a review but the addiction that others are saying...I don't see how it can be legit

Als erstes war ich etwas wütend und traurig, da ich das Spiel durch ein zufälliges Key bekommen habe (ich habe mir nur die bilder und so angeschaut), mir war klar das ich mein Geld damit verschwendet habe. Jedoch als ich es gespielt habe, habe ich mich in dieses Spiel regelrecht verliebt. Super Zeitvertreib, super Musik..... einfach nur toll Empfehlenswert!!!!

I don't know why Classic Rampart isn't on Steam, but this is close. If you could edit the control buttons the game would be a lot more fun.

Una combinación entre Tetris y pégale a lo loco los controles, donde el objetivo es destruir el castillo de tu amigo o enemigo, con el objetivo de derrumbar sus murallas y hacerle imposible su reconstrucción. lo recomiendo como juego de paso, jugarlo unos 30 min o 1 hora a lo mucho luego se hace muy aburrido, ya que es el mismo mapa, mismo río, mismos duendes que te ... la partida. lo sugiero comprar en ofertas, donde puede pasar desapercibido en las compras semanales de las ofertas de steam.

As a enormous fan of the game this is based on (Rampart), I recommend it... but with caveats (especially assuming that further development will be made). PRO: * Decent game settings (length, pieces, etc.) * The AI is pretty good. CONS (Hopefully to be improved in future versions): * The control is very stiff, whether with joypad or keyboard. It feels like there is a considerable lag... * Keyboard controls do not appear to be remappable and they are incredibly uncomfortable. * Very limited replayability as a solo player. After losing the first round getting used to the controls. I won the next three, with the last one being against to difficult-leveled AI. I'm not that good at this genre either, so I was surprised. With, from what I can tell, only two maps (2-player vs. 3-4 player), there's not much to do. It's a good start.

It was fun and challenging to play versus a friend also versus the AI.
