I bought this thinking it would be as good as Rampart (Arcade or Console). The controls aren't nearly the same. You can only use the "wasd" keys and "er" for rotation. And with controllers or a joystick, you have to tap very fast to get where you want. It feels awful, and I couldn't even win a match against the computer because of these awful controls. Unless the dev team adds mouse or better controls, this game is not worth purchasing. You're better off buying any version of Rampart on console. It's sad because Rampart is one of my favorite games, and I was really looking forward to a decent remake to play against other friends that loved it back in the day.
bored me after a couple minutes... i don't get it
Beyond the fact that the Dev's instantly abandoned it (I think the company went bankrupt?) and beyond the fact that there are a few achievements you can't get (real ire for achievement hunters like me), the real problem is that the game isn't very fun. The wall blocks they give you are difficult to work with as many are odd shapes and there are very strict requirements for what counts as a finished castle and no direction on what areas you need to fix. I'm often just guessing what needs to be put where. Very frustrating. If you're reading this part of me wants you to buy it, just to see if some person somewhere getting $2 added to their bank account makes them actually check on the game and fix it.
все круто,игра норм...время убить можно
I love it!
I enjoyed it. The controls took a bit of getting used to, and could do with some polishing up. They're a bit choppy, but not unplayable. I've beaten the medium computer several times now using WADS/ER, and i'm liking the team play options. Wish the dev team would update it some, as it's missing some minor amenities, such as a victory/defeat song.
不好玩
Irytująca, złe sterowanie.
its so close to being a great rampart clone but feels like the devs gave up right before the finish. no settings for the matches, no proper controller support, just short of being great.
