I’ve tried this game for a hot minute and I have to say, for an indie title in Early Access it does show promise! While there are a few bugs (which is to be expected), the potential is there. The graphics are really impressive, especially for an indie. Loved the dynamic weather system, got chills the first time it started raining. Struggling to building a home is start, but I would love to see more challenges down the line, some quests, even if it's something basic like "pick up 3 rocks". Right now, it feels a bit too easy, and some added objectives could really spice things up. A fishing system would also be a great addition, especially with the beautiful lake right at the start – it just feels like a missed opportunity to not be able to fish there. Also it would be great to get some more context for the world – maybe an intro or some backstory about how we ended up in the wilds. I think that could make the experience even more immersive. Lastly, I’d loove to see a multiplayer mode in the future, hope that's the case. All in all, I’m really excited to see how this game evolves. It’s a great foundation, and I can’t wait to see the developer expand on these ideas. Keep up the great work, and I’m looking forward to the updates.
This game starts off as a survival grind. Took me 2 hrs of game play just to get a building plan so I could build a fire. Unreal engine 5 graphic are amazing. Nature sounds are great, hunting animations need some work but it is EA. Price seems a little high but if you enjoy games like subsistance and the grind then this is a must. Building is no easy task either, rope is not just fibre and everything needs rope to craft. Hours of game play here and its just begun. Oh, and I can't say enough about the realistic terrain. Like I said....its a grind. Oh and the open world is big. Good luck and happy gaming. Check out the Devs youtube channel for gameplay and visuals. I posted a short video just of the sounds in the game. P.S. I forgot to mention the thunderstorms and sounds are amazing....or maybe I did.
The game offers a beautiful environment enhanced by the graphics. The atmosphere is good, the weather changes and the sounds provide the necessary realism. You can gather resources, craft tools, and survive, but there isn’t much in terms of long-term goals. It can start to feel repetitive. I think this game has potential and i look forward to the new updates.
played for a good 30ish min's then had a bug with berrys stuck on my hot bar. went to reset but saved first. when i hit resume save was gone and i was back at the start with nothing. bigest issues i have is theres no way to turn off Motion blur so if you get queesy like i do with it id say don't get it
7800X3D and a 4080 with all DLSS options enabled on [strike] ultra mode [/strike] Cinematic, i get about 70FPS until night hit and the game went down to about 30FPS and never recovered. also, what is this key input layout lol such oddball keys. was really difficult to find an animal to kill. finally found a bear, he charged me, stopped did no damage and i stood calmly in front of it whilst shanking it to death lol i like the idea and overall game. but i think imma let this one cook a little longer before i return. again, love the overall game, just think it needs a few refinements. keep it up Arnold Popescu, im excited to see where you take this project.
fairly disappointing, the rate of thirst and hunger makes it almost impossible to begin to craft and build. the mouse control is jerky and almost impossible to do anything, the cursor is way too sensitive even with the controls turned way down. It has amazing possibilities but for now I'm not impressed
I really like the potential of this game. I see that it already has a few updates and u can see that the dev is putting effort into it. However, I would love to see even more major updates in the future as right now you can build your shelter pretty fast and it might get boring from there on. But it's an early access game so I'll just wait and see how this progresses further.
I have 50 hours in this game. There are many amazing things about this game. The scenery is very well done, but the weather effects are amazing. You can almost feel the chill of the cold winds go through you as the winds howl and the snow falls. You can hear the crunch of your footsteps on the snow. The lightening and sound effects of the thunder storms are amazing. You can hear the predators stalk you. As with any survival game, the beginning is mainly about foraging and hunting to survive. It is an early access game, which means players are waiting for more content. As I understand it, more crafting, cooking and medical recipes are on the way as well as a quest system. I feel that it is worth the wait, and I am stocking up on supplies for when they are added to the game. I definitely recommend this game.
a good start for an early access game, recommend! I also see that the dev has made some updates already, looking forward to more.
I really like this game,i recommend to everyone who wants to experience real survival!More animals should be added in future, everything is perfect for now.
