About
CARNAL is a fast and challenging old-school shooter taking loving inspiration from the 90's greats made on the Quake and Build Engine.
Enter a strange world filled with mysteries, conspiracies, and paranormal activity.
Mixing classic FPS action with an unsettling horror atmosphere, every episode and unique level will keep you on the edge.

As a chad member of the Realm Defense Force, take on the terror organization known as the Sons of Anak, who have opened portals to the "other side" throughout the city of Seed Valley. Once there they plan to extract Dark Matter in order to build weapons of mass destruction.
Destroy their soldiers and operations, as well as any "other" hostile entities that plan on stopping you.
Be warned: the world looks a lot different on the "other side", and it also probably smells bad.

It feels like the developers or developer (I’m not sure) got burn out while making this because the first episode does suffer from levels that are too big and have that “where the ♥♥♥♥ do I go” problem going on but there’s variety. But the 2 & 3 episodes are a lot less interesting and very samey. Some like the second last level feel downright unfinished because the level is so empty and quickly over. The game isn’t hard like it claims to be (at least normal) but it’s very unbalanced. I never had to restart level because I ran out of lives but if I had, I would have just skipped it. Nothing carries over between levels and there’s actually no saving and you can select any level via level select. Anyways….those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ american footballers are one of the worst enemies I’ve seen in a FPS game. But I really liked the old school soundtrack (especially the more mellow tracks) and despite all it flaw’s, the game just kinda works and has good vibes going on. I’m keeping my eye on what comes next.
Boomer shooter con tintes de terror bastante divertido que recuerda a Dusk, con una buena duración pese a su bajo coste. Cómpralo, está casi regalado.

Yep, it's old school runs smooth, like gliding along. But to me here @ CIGAR GOD GAMING, the voices are most enjoyable. I always come back to replay again & <( ampersand ) again. oh, the dot om the small i is called a title. enjoy the game.
I mean its pretty fun its just the weird attempts of offensive humor with the billboards that don't really come off right
really nice game, pure FPS no bells and whistles. really liked bad SFX mixing and the art style, also liked that every level has a boss of sorts. only thing i dont like is movemnt its too basic and boring shouldve been like quake movement with some juice like view roll and stuff, not allowing to bhop in a game like this is criminal
Great game! Played through it in one sitting, and I think I'm gonna give it another playthrough or several over the years. Definitely feels like the kinda game I return to periodically. The soundtrack is surprisingly an absolute banger, and I had as much fun playing through this as Dusk. Dev probably should've sold this for at least $5, it's totally worth it. Time is more valuable than the price of entry, and thankfully this roughly 4-hour experience was well worth my afternoon. Very based and red-pilled jokes, too, kudos to the dev for having balls.
Not bad, specially cause of price. Names a bit weird. Its long enough and at least is not a scam like many low priced ones. Most areas where all different so it didn't feel repetitive to me. I did have a few issues with colors and darkness in 2 levels, one even got filled with water. Anyways good enough.
A basic, enjoyable throwback shooter- the content on offer is a steal at 99 cents.
Super hiper ekstra turbo jank. i wszystko w temacie.
the asethics, texturing, visuals, and the variety of enemy models were very pleasant, and tickled my brain. the gameplay and level design was confusing and very linear, in the sense you mainly just strafe around searching for the keycards/secrets to open the doors required to get to each levels respective end portal. its easy to recommend based off its pocket change level price point, but keep in mind, it was a very rough playthrough at points, has some offensive humor(that won't always land), however the interesting set pieces and enemy design really drove me to get through each level and see it all. i really do like this devs work, i just think they might benefit from having external help, that's also in line with their creative vision.
