How was your day? Tell me about it...
Sometimes all you need is a notebook, a pen, and a cat purring beside you. While Lo-Fi sounds fill your room, you can pour out your thoughts, watch your plants grow, and settle into a little corner that's entirely your own.
That's exactly what this is.
Write Your Journal, Keep Your Moments Every new page every day. It doesn't matter what you write — were you happy today, tired, what was on your mind? Words gather into a small diary of memories that belongs only to you. Writing sometimes feels better than you'd expect.
🐱 Your Cat is Always There You can stop writing and give them some love. They understand you anyway.
🌿 Grow Your Plants, Bring Your Room to Life A tiny seed, a little care, a little time. Every corner is your choice, your story.
🏆 A Totem Every Day Every day you play, you earn a totem that's yours. A small reward, a small memory. Watching your days pile up into something visible... strange but beautiful.
✉️ Anonymous Letters — Reach Someone, Hear from Someone Sometimes you want to say something but don't know who to say it to. Write your letter, release it into the world. Someone, somewhere will read it. Maybe you'll find someone else's letter too. A stranger might have written exactly what you needed in that moment.
🎮 Mini Games from Your Room's Computer Time for a little break! Sit at the computer in your room and enjoy the mini games. A small surprise within your daily routine.
📚 Fill Your Bookshelf The things you do, the moments you live through earn you books. As your library grows, so does your story. Look at your shelf — see how far you've come.

Alright. Cozy Liora is really exactly what it says it is: a journaling program. The idea is that it provides a chill place for you to create your own daily journal. Which you can of course use in any way you see fit. Phrased a different way, it provides a convenient and chill place to keep a diary. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3732678880 However, that on its own would be a pretty bland experience. Cool but bland. And so, the dev is attempting to make this a more complete gaming experience centered around this concept. To that end, he has already implemented a couple features. Sending messages to the community being the one I feel has the opportunity to be the most impactful. And I noticed that the majority of people who have written reviews for this already have also sent at least one message. Which you can upvote with a heart system. Additionally, I noticed the developer added a library feature and shared some inspirational messages within. There are also a couple mini games available (four actually). I really only messed with the puzzle, which was simple. I don't know if it's implemented or planned, as I've only just opened this program today, but having daily puzzles would be a nice feature. There is an interactive screen for playing with your digital cat. It's actually a thing in marketing that cat images on products increase sales for that product. Will that be the case here? Dunno. But it is cute regardless. Additionally, there's a little radio with a number of tunes. Another feature that would be nice to see implemented is an actual visible playlist. That said, the songs all sound nice and are lofi as mentioned in the product description. A playlist has since been added. Thanks! I really liked the variety of rooms available, and I imagine this will also increase in time. In the end, I thought the Xbox Green room (or so I have dubbed it) was the one I preferred, although I've started using others. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3732678778 All that said, journaling is the core of this experience. I didn't really have much to say today. But I did write a quick sentence, gave it a hashtag later on after thinking about it, lol. I think however that plenty of people can benefit from daily journaling, and this should be the primary draw for this experience. It's far less expensive than pen and paper for sure. And maybe the shared thoughts feature can really shine as well, with enough of a player base. I do have a couple notes regarding the reviewing of this experience. I personally question how someone would have ten, twenty hours (at the time of this writing) outside of the developer himself and whoever he has asked to test this prior to it entering early access. I think with daily journaling, you could probably amass quite a bit of time in Cozy Liora over weeks and months, but I do wonder how people have that time currently. I think the reviews with under an hour (at the time of this writing) are probably a bit less idling and a bit more personal experience with the program for good or bad. You can see everything there currently is to see in probably ten minutes, absent your personal time spent journaling. It's also impossible to have experienced any aspect of this game and have zero achievements. As is the case with one particularly spiteful reviewer and his scathing review, currently visible on the front page. I would also note that AI was used for the artwork in this game. That's never an ideal choice. But it also has no impact on your journaling. So, YMMV regarding that. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3732678766 Anyway, I think this is a program that shows some promise and quite a bit of utility for the right audience. Which, I would categorize the right audience as people who are interested in keeping a daily journal for whatever reason. But having it spruced up with some cool tunes, a potential community, and some side activities. It's also only two bucks at the moment. That's a highly favorable price point. It's worth following, and since the journal is already functional, it may very well also be worth a purchase. EDIT: Another friend has astutely noticed that the dev here has committed to donating all of the revenue from Cozy Liora to Darüşşafaka, which is one of Türkiye’s oldest educational non-governmental organizations. The dev is very humble about this, and only has this mentioned in a discussion board post, so I wanted to highlight this ♡ good cause ♡ and the dev’s generosity! More about the organization: “With its mission of providing equal opportunity in education, it offers full-scholarship boarding education to talented students with limited financial means who have lost a mother or father. Donations help cover the students’ education, accommodation, meals, clothing, healthcare and other daily needs.” ~~~~~~~~~~~ A sweet friend gifted me Cozy Liora tonight, and I have been having the loveliest time! Cozy Liora lives up to its name. I had never heard of "Liora" before, and so I googled it. Liora is "a beautiful, traditionally feminine name of Hebrew origin that translates to 'light' .... and represents positivity, inner strength, and hope." Cozy Liora is an idler, and I have spent a couple of rather active hours with it so far. :) I read one review that referred to this as more of a screensaver, which I like as a description, as you're not really unlocking much of anything, aside from stickers for your in-game album, and "books," which are actually simply inspirational quotes (and so delightful!). Outside of that, you're likely going to be idling this for gentle ambiance, and the convenience of quick access to a journal and minigames. You get a lot of features! You have: - A bedroom (can't decorate, but many beautiful themes) - A garden (with very light decorating) - A music player (about 15 lo-fi tracks) - A simple journal (with mood tracker) - A cute cat companion (or fluffy dog with the dlc) - Light logic puzzles (peep the discussion board for help!) - A suika game (fruit drop merge) - Ways to interact anonymously with people (letters, fruit trays) My favorites are the green bedroom with the bookcase and plants; the "Cinnamon Hour" track (which I have replayed countless times tonight); and the suika game (quite addicting). The artstyle is really soft, with the feature buttons reminding me of puffy stickers, and the bedroom and garden scenes resembling dollhouse furniture. Note that most features within Cozy Liora aren't really explained. I didn't have any trouble, though, just clicking the various buttons, poking around, and seeing what pops up (something that I *personally* enjoy, but I know many people prefer//need tutorials). Only the puzzle games were head-scratchers for me, until I looked on the Steam discussion board and found the explanations for each game kindly posted by the dev after someone asked for guidance. Achievements are simple; you can easily knock out 35 of 52 achievements within two hours, which I have done! The remainder rely to some extent on playing the game regularly, and exchanging anonymous gifts and letters with people. With regard to the anonymous letters, they just pop up in your inbox, and as it stands currently, there's no filter. So... be careful when flipping through them. Most that I read were sweet, some were silly, and one was quite filthy. >.> It will be great if the dev can push out a patch containing safety filter for NSFW letter contents! ;) Speaking of added features, I see that the dev is actively adding little things to Cozy Liora, so I don't have any concerns about this being abandoned anytime soon, but only getting better with time! So, I have just ONE tiny request: Can we get a "repeat" button for the music player? I really LOVE LOVE LOVE the "Cinnamon Hour" track and would appreciate being able to listen to it on repeat! Bugs? I think just one that I've come across. When returning to the game, or returning to your room after visiting your garden, your bedroom may switch to a different theme. It's not too big of a deal, as it just takes a few seconds to cycle through the randomized order of the room themes to find your favorite. Perhaps having a list of the room themes, rather than a randomizer, would help here. One option could be a "surprise me" room, where you get a different theme each time you load into the game. For a couple of dollars, I think Cozy Liora has quite a bit to offer. It's just a very peaceful non-intrusive space, with some fun little activities. It reminds me of my childhood, when I'd leave Solitaire or Minecraft running in the background of my desktop while I'd write a book report, and flip over to an aquarium screensaver when I needed to zone out. :) Cozy Liora is an elevated version of that simpler time. Hugs to my friend for gifting me this "cozy light" space. I love it, and our friendship! <3
I know some people may be hesitant because this game uses AI-generated visuals, and that is completely fair! BUT I also think it is totally worth mentioning that the developer is donating 100% all revenue from Cozy Liora to Darüşşafak, one of Türkiye’s oldest educational NGOs! ❤ ╰➤ Discussion-post about the donation from the dev here (Also thank you to my two lovely friends for letting me know about this) it is just another thing there makes me wanna support a game even more! And now! to the cozy stuff… because awwe, this game is adorable. Cozy Liora is a relaxing little idler that is filled up with small different kind of things to brighten up your day! You can write in your diary, choose between multiple bedrooms! (and switch whenever you want or feel for it), listen to different music tracks or nothing at all, solve cute little puzzles (which completely confused my brain at first lmao, but they are really well explained in the discussions), AND! you can also spend time in your little garden! The garden might be my favorite part.🌱 You can water your plant once every day, decorate your space a little, brew yourself a cozy cup of coffee, and even send your random “neighbor” (another player) a cute little tray in the color you like, with drinks and cakes, that you pick! It is small tiny feature, but really cute and does give a little extra! You can also write (anonymously) letters to other players, which is such a wholesome idea. Most of the messages i have seen have been really kind, supportive, and very wholesome! But.… every now and then, a rather disturbing letter sneaks in (sadly). My friend and I both agreed it would be amazing if there were some kind of filter for those because… wow. It definitely catches you off guard in a cozy game like this. Another super sweet surprise is the daily sticker drop! (At least I think it is daily lmao. it seems to happen after playing for a few minutes.) The stickers appear in your Steam inventory, and they are just super cute. I might wanna need to collect them all haha. The game is cheap, charming, full of little daily activities, and just really stress free for sure! So if you are looking for a small cozy game to unwind with after a long day? I do recommend Cozy Liora. ☕🪴
uses AI generated visuals, eeeew 🤢
Tavsiye ederimm :3
In simple terms, this is an interactive screensaver that you can turn on while you are doing something else on your computer, such as studying or cleaning. The main screen is a room with several icons around it. The room’s look can be switched to several pre made options, but there is no customization. Some of the rooms are more elaborate, others are simple. Some are designed with a specific audience in mind, and some may not work well for everyone because they are themed around certain countries, such as Spain or Germany. The room is chosen at random each time you click the button, so you need to click it a few times to get the one you want. Activities are accessed through icons around the screen. There is a diary, a music player, a computer with four easy games, and a messaging feature where you can send and receive anonymous messages from other users. Another cool feature is a sky with stars that represent people who have written in their diary. You can also see their names. Some of the icons can only be used once per day, which encourages you to come back each day for a few minutes. For instance, you can make yourself a cup of coffee, feed and play with your cat, and water a plant. Unfortunately, there is no idle mode or borderless fullscreen option where the game can run in the background while you are working on your computer. As a result, each time you alt tab out of the game, it becomes inactive. This limits its usefulness and makes it feel too restricted in what it can do.
