Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The legendary Carmageddon engine roars back to life, as a spin-off for a new era of vehicular combat.
The year is 2050, and the world you know is a post‑apocalyptic wasteland.
Hordes of nightmare creatures, the Wasted, lay siege to humanity. Every night, the streets are overrun, forcing everyone to barricade themselves in their skyscraper-homes for survival.
There is just one chance to escape all this: the Carmageddon.
These deadly races promise power, prestige, and valuable prizes to the participants. Most importantly, the champion wins the right to attempt the perilous journey that leads to the spaceport beyond the mountains. The only one left, the only chance to flee this dying world.
You enter the Carmageddon as one of countless racers, equipped with little more than a rust bucket, scavenged fuel, and a makeshift weapon. You'll face off against rival gangs like the Autoscum and other rogues in a fight for survival. Each destruction race is an opportunity to win parts and upgrades, a step towards the ultimate escape.
As the night descends, the Wasted take the streets, and you with them.
The original Carmageddon spirit of vehicular mayhem has been refined and redesigned. We looked at the past and the present to create a visceral, fast and accessible form of combat racing.
• 15 upgradeable vehicles – FWD, RWD & AWD, each with unique weight and suspension
• Metal‑on‑metal car combat – crash, shove, boost and side‑bash rivals
• 13 weapon classes – from shotguns to railguns, all fully upgradable
• 80+ perks – craft outrageous synergies for destruction racing supremacy
• Dynamic weather & day‑night cycle – rain slicks the tarmac, fog shrouds ambushes
• Elite & Boss events – colossal war‑rigs, corrupted Enforcers, and endless zombie hordes
• Extensive visual damage model - windshields, hood, doors, bumpers and trunk lid will bend, crumple, hang and detach.
Every Campaign run offers a unique journey through a randomly generated graph.
Win Events and smash opponents to gain Credits. Maneuvers such as killing Wasteds, drifts, jumps, and flicks also grant rewards.
Strategically plan your route so you can reach Shops. In these safe havens you can repair your car, swap weapons, or install one of the 80+ unlockable perks.
Adapt to the dynamically increasing difficulty and conquer elite events and bosses.
With branching paths, varied objectives, and ever-changing time-of-day and weather conditions, no two runs are the same.
But the Carmageddon ain’t over when your vehicle is wrecked. Another driver will step up, and the challenge will resume anew, in a typical roguelite loop. Earn Beatcoins to unlock permanent bonuses and new content between runs in the Black Market. Find synergies between these elements to create the ultimate killing machine: the Carmageddon never ends
The Carmageddon hosts a diverse assembly of marauders, rejects, and lowlifes. Some prefer to rush in front of the pack. Others will chase you and try to bash you out of the way. Some will wait for the chance to unload their weapons into your car. Some are more skilled or better prepared than others. You may recognize some familiar names in the crowd.
Corrupt police forces known as the Enforcers impose their brutal rules on those spared from mutation. The Enforcers will force you off the road to strip your car for spare parts and ammo, if you let them.
Each area of the city is controlled by a particularly fierce opponent, commonly known as “the Boss”. These are the biggest, baddest, fastest, more armed vehicles that you can find. The rules of the Carmageddon demand that you beat each Boss before advancing to the next stage.
Every race is a brutal test of skill, demanding you master driving, melee, and ranged attacks against a diverse and unpredictable roster of foes. To do so, you must work on your car, find upgrades and weapons that combine well together, and consistently perform behind the wheel.
The Third World War and a series of devastating natural disasters left Earth in ruins. Amidst the chaos, a food supplement called MiVis was introduced to address food shortages, and became a ubiquitous part of daily life.
However, long-term consumption of MiVis led to a horrific cellular mutation, transforming people into Wasted - monstrous, empty husks consumed by the supplement's side effects.
Now, they have become a mass of unsentient, super-aggressive beings that threaten survivors as soon as the sun starts to set.
A lone Wasted is no match for your chariot of fury. Things start to heat up when more Wasteds show up. Boost into the hordes of humanoid husks swarming the track, parting the waves of Wasted like a Moses on wheels! But be careful not to get stuck in the high tide: too many Wasteds will surround your car and smash it to bits with the remains of their raw hands.
And then there are Special Wasteds… horrible supermutations of the Wasted, morphed into something even less human.
They may explode, shoot you from a distance, lunge at your car, or produce even nastier surprises.
They pose a real danger and tend to show up late at night.
And then, there’s the ultimate abomination. A creature whispered about, rarely seen; the monster that guards the only mountain pass towards salvation, and your final challenge.

Read what the game is about and play the demo before buying it I love classic carma but I had to admit the formula became stale. This spinoff gives carmageddon the new breath it deserves. I'm going to write a full review when I have more time in the game but for now I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Tl;dr review - it's a fun 20 - 30$ driving combat game for one or two play attempts in a session. Not something you'll be doing for a long run, but definitely worth a try. However, the game lacks certain adjustments and polish that hold it back from being a full recommend. Full review - This game gets to about 80% of its full potential. And yeah, a B-minus isn't a "bad" grade, but you definitely know it could do better. It sounds almost nitpicky to say that the game gets every concept about 80% right and that makes it frustrating, but when you PLAY it, and if you play other driving games, you feel why that last 20% can feel so bad. Let's just preview this with the starting menu loop. You select "new game" -> you go to the store -> You select a difficulty -> You select a car - > You start your run. Now here's the first rub: You can NOT break that cycle. If you're at the store and you want to exit out of the game? You have to go all the way to CAR SELECTION, then hit back and it takes you to the main menu. Oh but what if you're at car select and you want to change difficulty? Hit BACK to go to the MAIN MENU, and then go through the store and THEN you can change your difficulty. I present this not because that is the most unforgiveable sin a game menu has ever committed, but to put out the mindset of the game going forward. It's full of little things that someone probably pointed out, but was just not important enough to fix, no matter how small. Okay let's talk driving - I LOVE the weight and feel of the weapons aside from the laser gun. Heavy, chunky noises and effects and things go boom. Zombies are fun to drive through. Most impacts are satisfying, weighty moves that punish both parties and just has good game feel. The drifting on the other hand? And grip level in general? Well it's neither mario kart nor is it Forza Horizon, that much is for sure. And it's not so much about the grip level as it is when you have and don't have grip. Drifting is slow in this game - no boosts initially, but if you do it right you do gain boost for later. But you can easily find yourself spinning out without no real warning from the car, particularly if it has low grip to begin with. but then to get going again, its easy to powerslide in a loop and lose a ton of time. Meanwhile, the game's rubberbanding takes a lot of the thrill and edge off of all of this. If you're way into the lead, don't bother trying to extend it. THe enemies are getting free boost/speed and will be on your tail shortly. Or if you've got at least a lap left in the race, don't despair when you're dead last - you'll be back in the fight in just a few turns. So while it's hard to quantify the technical side of driving, I'm settling on the word "pointless". Which is a slight problem because you NEED to get a good result to keep your run going in most maps. But just have some faith that the game will provide and make sure you pick up weapon upgrades when you can and you'll be fine in the races themselves. I do wish the cars had a bit more momentum against the environment though, and the drift physics really do need some extra work. I get this isn't ridge racer, but a little bit of speed boost would go a long way towards making slipperier cars feel more satisfying. I think I'll end off by commenting on the overall gameplay loop - I think the economy is well balanced, you often have just enough to get the upgrades and weapons you need to succeed, but the game sometimes doesn't provide what your build needs in the shops, so some boss fights or races can become a slog. But that just happens sometimes in Rogue-likes. It's a hard game to play for multiple runs at a time though. The aforementioned fail due to bad luck in the shops is bad enough (this game has time limits for boss fights/races so unlike FTL or many other rogue-likes, you can't just have a slow fight and tough it out if you've got the HP) but having a great run hit the end stretch only to die in 15 seconds on a race because the guy behind you got a machine gun that murked you before you could even blink is VERY frustrating as it feels like the game has no counterplay or....no, I change my mind there - the game PUNISHES you for starting off too well. THe rubberbanding means enemies are always behind you and your weapons can't shoot back. You WILL lose a run or two to an enemy behind just mowing you down on the first lap because you rushed into the lead. Or you lose a run after leading a race the entire time only to spin out because you drifted too hard on the final turn, and the racers all behind you are SCREAMING by at top speed thanks to the rubberbanding to keep them on your tail so you just lose in the final turn. This all goes back to my 80% comment at the start - yes, you learn your lessons about some of this, but I can't help but feel like some counter-play or even a better AI balance or something could solve this. That last 20% isn't game breaking, and right up to those moments I was having fun. But a death like that can sour a good run and make me not want to do another run. That is the ultimate crime of Carmageddon, and it's why you see negative reviews - it is a Rogue-like that does NOT encourage you to just do "one more run". It takes too long to get into a good run, and you lose it in far too frustrating of a manner to encourage just one more go. But it's a shame because when you are in the thick of a good run, it is a blast to play. So take all that as you will.

not carmagaddon as we knew it in the old days totally diffrent game :(
Fun game, wish it had multiplayer or coop.
Nice game
YEAHHH!!!
Un juego completamente distinto al carmageddon clásico, visualmente y en jugabilidad, es más parecido al BLUR (que igual le gana). Lo compré por fanatismo a la saga pero es raro jugar un carmageddon estilo arcade.
I loved the early carmageddon games. That said this game breathes fresh air into a classic genre. The rougelite mechanics are all well implemented, the cars handling has been improved, but even if it wasn't this type of racing game doesn't need vehicles that can take a turn with needlepoint accuracy at 150 mph, and if you disagree then you just hate fun. The stunts and tricks I have pulled off because of the loose handling have all been hilarious hijinks in what is a great racing shooter. It's the closest to a good Twisted Metal and Burnout Revenge lovechild we have gotten in a long time. Great work Dev-Team!
pa flipar, como mola
I really like the game, but I have random FPS drops which totally break the experience
