Land battles are different: dishonest, ruthless and risky for you and those who you hold dear. Bring your companions with you, poison your weapons, study the terrain, craft deadly items, and confront thugs, soldiers, pirates, and rivals head-on.

Tailor your character's build – become a heavy swordsman, a nimble rogue, a master sharpshooter, or a silver-tongued diplomat.
Equip yourself and your companions with a wide array of swords, axes, rapiers, armor, muskets, and pistols.
Craft amulets, ammo, potions, and always be prepared for battle.
Seek out challenges – the more you fight, the stronger both you and your character become.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reseña negativa y a cagar.

I'd been looking for a pirate (or New World) open-world RPG for some time, with gameplay on land and sea, and the option to play in first-person or third-person perspective. I was very surprised by the game; it's a great find, especially since the game's name and cover art aren't particularly enticing. I wasn't familiar with Sea Dogs or Pirates of the Caribbean. The game reminds me of the single-player games we had in the early 2000s, both in terms of graphics and writing. The game isn't voiced (similar to Morrowind). The way the grind is done is quite similar to Gothic (a little bit), meaning that areas will evolve as you progress. The game takes its time; after 20 hours of gameplay, it felt like I'd only played for two hours, it's so time-consuming. It's quite long, and the game doesn't reward you much. It's a game where you need to take the time to prepare and manage your crew, otherwise things will go wrong. A good RPG where the possibilities are numerous with a good choice of personalizations, it becomes almost a simulation of piracy, privateers or simple navigators in the service of their nation. The open world allows you to sail from island to island. On the islands, it's a series of zones, not a true open world, similar to Fable or Way of the Samurai. At sea, the danger isn't just enemy ships, but also storms, for example. The ships are detailed, with our own cabins, crews, and the provisions we absolutely need to survive at sea. There are stores specifically designed for resupply, but it costs money, so there's an economy system with banks. The story is not bad, the main characters have personalities. The game offers you choices that will have consequences. Even a simple job will require you to make a choice. To earn your money you will choose between being a true pirate thirsty for money or being forced to restrain yourself due to a lack of skills. Our officers have lives of their own and can ask you to leave the ship and start a new life. I really appreciated the fact that the writing wasn't sanitized. That it included certain elements that would be too shocking in a AAA game today. You can tell that the game was developed by history enthusiasts. The game respects historical realities while taking some liberties. I laughed a lot at the French names of the characters. All the major nations of the era are represented, with different factions and a reputation system. The music is immersive and really sets the mood. My favorites are the epic ones, film-like tracks that create a fantastic atmosphere; I feel there aren't enough of them. The rest are less enjoyable to listen to. Sometimes you will have random dialogues available with some settlers; if you don't activate them at the right time and you go back to them, it will be too late. The downside is that there are some occasional bugs; I once got chased by the guards for theft, but the dialogue option to arrest me wouldn't trigger. Returning to the desktop causes a black screen, so you shouldn't play in fullscreen mode. Also, don't skip steps and make sure you understand what needs to be done in the quests, otherwise you might get stuck. The names aren't always written the same way or translated, which can be confusing, but this might have historical significance, given that the names of historical figures weren't always spelled consistently across different sources.
