The Caribbean Sea – a realm of dozens of islands and cities, a grand archipelago shrouded in mystery and secrets. Owning a warship is a privilege, a symbol of status and luxury. You are among the very few who can afford such grandeur. Begin your journey with a simple sloop and work your way up to commanding a ship of the line or even a fleet of these formidable vessels, ready to plunder cities at your whim. No one will stand in your way. Tired from leading massive armadas and the responsibility? Take command of a fast Frigate or Corvette and just free roam the Caribbean. In moments of tranquility at sea, relish the stunning views, embrace the sense of exploration, or navigate in the heart of a storm.

Command dozens of ships representing the glory of the Age of Sail.
Customize, paint, upgrade, and repair your vessel.
Engage in unforgiving yet enjoyable naval combat.
Experience intense boarding action, from the upper deck to the captain's cabin.
Collect unique vessels to rule the seas.
Manage booty distribution, morale, and the threat of mutinies.
Assemble a formidable team of officers.

Captains are most vulnerable when they set foot on land. Surviving naval combat can be challenging, but at least you won't die alone – your crew will stand with you till the very end. Land battles are different: dishonest, ruthless and risky for you and those who you hold dear. Bring your companions with you, poison your weapons, study the terrain, craft deadly items, and confront thugs, soldiers, pirates, and rivals head-on.

Tailor your character's build – become a heavy swordsman, a nimble rogue, a master sharpshooter, or a silver-tongued diplomat.
Equip yourself and your companions with a wide array of swords, axes, rapiers, armor, muskets, and pistols.
Craft amulets, ammo, potions, and always be prepared for battle.
Seek out challenges – the more you fight, the stronger both you and your character become.
Command military operations from raiding to sieges.

Do not collide with other ships unless you want your screen and ears to shatter.
The game starts out fine, but once your done with the beginning, everything kills you. Take a quest to escort somebody- Killed by ships at the destination Fight a duel for honor- Killed by getting shot in the face Travel around the map- Killed in an inescapable pirate ship fight. Try to do a side quest- Killed in an unwinnable fight with 10 enemys I know the game is supposed to be hard, but I spent two hours trying to find anything that didn't kill me, and there was none. I'm sure that there are people out there that are going to be, "Well actually... You just have to go here and do this, and then go over here and do this thing, and then hire this person .... and it's really not that bad", and they are entitled to their opinion, but you can't even learn anything, because everything is so convoluted and slow nothing really pops out as a learning experience. I quickly ran out of money, and food, and sailors, and everything else, and I still hadn't learned how to play the game. On top of all of this, at some point, my ship randomly stopped moving, except if I was in the map screen, so combat became impossible, short range travel became impossible, and everything just ended up feeling like the game was broken. When you have to ask yourself every time you do something in a game "Is this a glitch, or is my ship just not moving for a reason", or "Is this a glitch, or is every enemy's just a way higher level than me", or "Is this a glitch, or how do i find something that my character is capable of doing without dying", then the game isn't designed well. And I can guarantee you one thing, I'm not about to go through the 4 hour intro again to try a second time, when I feel like I learned absolutely nothing on my first attempt.
Better wait a little bit and start playing later.
Shiver me timbers! This here game be stirrin' up memories o' me glorious days on the briney deep! Aye, cruisin' me ship across the vast seas, a-plunderin' rival vessels and claimin' their juicy loot as me own! Arrr, if only I had a scurvy dog like meself to sail back to those times. Now, instead o' the open water and the glint o' gold, I be stuck watchin' strange drawings on me glowing rectangle all day. Blimey, a pirate's life for me, not this digital bilge!
It is not a modern game; it is not an easy game. But it is the best pirate/age of sail themed game I’ve ever played with very enjoyable gameplay and a solid story once you glare past the jank of the engine that is older than the vast majority of steam users. The game has lots of content by itself and even more so with DLC and the workshop support. The 200 hours of playtime is not exaggerated. After 360 hours, I have still not finished the main story with a lot of this time spent trading, acquiring strategic resources and upgrading my squadron and companions. A part of this time was unfortunately also spent debugging and coming up with workarounds for what I say are some strange limitations in the way that some of the quests expect you to play them. The 2.0 update is setting up to overhaul the graphics, and it is very much needed. However, even as it stands, the game is more than worth it's asking price of 43€ for the complete edition.
Although having some errors and not perfect. It is still one of the best naval- pirates game.
That's a must
bok gibi grafikleri olmasına, oyun bozan bugları yüzünden sürekli save almak zorunda olmanıza rağmen rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim ki son zamanlarda oynadığım en iyi oyun.
отвратительное качество
This game is a labour of love.
