14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It’s Doom but with magic. Brilliant concept with a mediocre execution. A real tragedy. Pretty average gameplay, basic level design, an engaging but nowhere near original story, well written dialogue voiced excellently. Repetitive enemies and too many metroidvania elements without there actually being anything to backtrack for. I might play it again someday, who knows, but it’s not a priority. I’d say Steam’s 7/10 and IGN’s 8/10 are pretty accurate. It’s adequately constructed and polished, but it doesn’t stand out. Loved the concept, though. I had a good time with it, but I wouldn’t say it’s a masterpiece or anything. After all the patches to improve performance I think it’s where it needs to be. It’s just Magic Doom and I’m here for it. Could use a stronger opening, but once you hit the games second act it really takes off and the hidden bosses? Brutal. Had to really try hard to take them down. Game needs a sequel but I’m not holding my breath for that. I really liked the first person magic shooter concept, it's something I haven't played before. Story is meh but good enough. It's the kind of game I can jump into after work and don't have to put a lot of thought into it. I enjoyed the game but it was definitely a 7/10 kinda game. It has a lot of promising ideas like the magic system is good and the overarching story is promising but they do rush the start of the game among other areas. It's a shame though as I'm confident that this could have been worthy of a sequel with feedback taken on board. The actual systems, when they open up, are kind of interesting. Bit like a simplified Doom 2016 but with magic. Not a terrible idea on the face of it. Eventually you realize that the actual challenge is sitting through hours... and hours....of the most horrific, sub MCU writing and every cutscene is unskippable. Borderless mode saves you a lot when they stop yapping so you can alt-tab. But then they catch on that you haven't been appreciated their S tier jokes and quips and force you to follow an NPC while they quip and yap. Somewhere in there is a game but I'm baffled by how much they try to make you hate it. Still I quite liked it. Nothing crazy but a solid 7/10 game. Decent gameplay which was good enough to get me through the whole game. I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some people say, even though I'd bet a big chunk of them never played it (since the numbers don't lie) but yeah, not a game that was worth the initial price. I feel like the game was just mediocre. Lots of filler, boring plot, and characters. That being said a mediocre game can be fun at times too. 7/10
The Game is fun and has interesting style and exploration is also fun, reminds me of Far Cry with Magic but even on low settings because of Lumen and Ninite the game is almost unplayable even with FSR3 and framegen thankfully i made it work without these two GPU Destroyers, whoever wants to copy my config[Engine.ini] there you go: just add these lines, im getting around 160fps with fsr3 quality and framegen [/script/engine.renderersettings] niagara.CreateShadersOnLoad=1 r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1 D3D12.PSO.DiskCache=1 D3D12.PSO.DriverOptimizedDiskCache=1 r.AllowOcclusionQueries=1 r.Shaders.Optimize=1 r.ShaderPipelineCache.StartupMode=3 r.ShaderPipelineCache.ReportPSO=1 r.ShaderPipelineCache.GameFileMaskEnabled=0 r.ShaderPipelineCache.LazyLoadShadersWhenPSOCacheIsPresent=1 r.ShaderPipelineCache.BatchSize=50 r.Vulkan.PipelineCacheFromShaderPipelineCache=1 r.XGEShaderCompile=1 r.XGEShaderCompile.Mode=1 r.XGEShaderCompile.Xml.BatchGroupSize=256 r.XGEShaderCompile.Xml.BatchSize=16 r.XGEShaderCompile.Xml.JobTimeout=0.500000 [TextureStreaming] r.Streaming.Boost=1 r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1 r.Streaming.HLODStrategy=2 r.bForceCPUAccessToGPUSkinVerts=True r.Streaming.FramesForFullUpdate=60 r.Streaming.DropMips=0 r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1 r.Streaming.MipBias=0 r.Streaming.UseAllMips=1 r.Streaming.UseMaterialData=1 r.Streaming.UseNewMetrics=1 r.Streaming.UsePerTextureBias=1 r.Shaders.Optimize=1 r.Shaders.FastMath=1 r.UseShaderCaching=1 r.UseShaderPredraw=1 r.UseAsyncShaderPrecompilation=1 r.TargetPrecompileFrameTime=13 r.PredrawBatchTime=13 r.AccelPredrawBatchTime=0 r.AccelTargetPrecompileFrameTime=0 r.Streaming.DefragDynamicBounds=1 s.AsyncLoadingThreadEnabled=True [ConsoleVariables] AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdates=1 AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesDuringGamethreadUpdates=1 AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesEditor=1 s.AsyncLoadingThreadEnabled=True [SystemSettings] r.Vignette=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.Lumen.Reflections.ScreenTraces=0 r.DefaultFeature.LensFlare=False r.Streaming.PoolSize=3072 r.MotionBlurQuality=0 r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 r.Shadow.PerObject=0 r.GTSyncType=1 r.OneFrameThreadLag=1 s.LevelStreamingComponentsRegistrationGranularity=30 r.Lumen.GlobalIllumination=0 r.Lumen.Reflections=0 r.Nanite.Streaming.StreamingPoolSize=1024 r.VirtualShadowMaps.MaxResolution=512 r.RenderTargetPoolMin=200 r.Streaming.MaxTempMemoryAllowed=512
Do NOT recommend. There are many good ideas in this game, but the implementation is terrible. It runs extremely poorly, you'll need a really REALLY good PC to run it well. The cutscenes are LONG and unskippable. "Reloading" my base spells is so infuriously stupid. What makes them distinct from guns then? Whenever you start the game, it takes an eternity before you can actually get to play... Splashscreen Splashscreen Splashscreen "login into no account" Splashscreen loader cutscene loader ... I wanted to play today, not next week...

Publisher account required to play a single-player game. Awful, but not really the devs' fault. Just EA doing its thing. That aside, I wanted to like this game. I heard it got some hate when it released but I went into it with an open mind. The whole look of the game was interesting. A magic-themed first-person shooter? It's not the first one ever, but it's a rare enough genre to take notice. As far as visuals and the general world they built, it's pretty great. Think of how you imagine a high-magic high-fantasy novel, and this is basically that. You'll see ancient cities alongside magical airships, clothing lined with magic and gems, magical ruins, glowy effects, and particle physics galore. The combat itself is also pretty enjoyable. It's a bit more on the twitchy side, but I think this game perfectly balances the number of tools you have available with the types of enemies it throws at you. You basically have a hard-counter to every enemy type, but the challenge is switching between magic types and tools and using them effectively when lots of enemies are present. Aside from the basic three magic types (guns) of blue, red, and green (which equate to basically pistol, shotgun, and SMG), you also have some utility tools and special attacks limited by a mana bar. Big enemy coming your way? Use a slowing tool and chip away at it before it can reach you. Fast enemy hitting you from range? Use your lash to pull it towards you and hit it with the shotgun magic. Bigger enemy popped up a shield? Hit your special attack that wrecks shields and scatters enemies. Some enemies also have weaknesses / strengths against different magic colors. It works well, and it's a challenge that makes you feel like you could be switching between tools more effectively. Despite having an interesting theme, solid atmosphere, and nice core combat, this game can't help but ruin that experience for you. The primary sin of this game is the absolute garbage writing. Every single character thinks they are funny, and they want to do their best to prove it to you. 90% of the dialogue out of every character's mouth (bar one or two) is just jokes and quips. I would compare it to Marvel-style writing, but even they can cool it on occasion. While rarely amusing, this primarily just undercuts whatever seriousness or impact could be felt in the story. When the story does try to switch tones, it does so awkwardly and immediately shifts back to jokes. There are so many examples, but let me give you just one. At one point in the story, you are tasked with delving into an area that's been sealed off for ages, where you are told a twisted race of monsters are contained who eat magic-users, and if they find you they would only try to consume you. Okay, decent setup, right? Could go in a direction of "wow these creatures ARE bad" or "they were never monsters, magic-users were horrible, etc." You have a few fights with some of them, and they're an interesting enemy type. However, at one point a cutscene interrupts you (more on that in a bit), and you are pinned by one of them who then says "What're you doing down here, haircut?" What? You build up this whole thing and the very first conversation starts with a lame joke? The entire rest of that conversation follows a similar tone. What a waste. The ENTIRE game is like this. Interesting setups or a hint of promise, followed immediately by hackneyed jokes. On the eve of a grand battle, the characters unwind by playing magical beer pong. It all just seems so juvenile, and completely ruins any grandeur that could be had by the backdrop. It doesn't all need to be serious, but it should at least be funny if it's going to go that route. Portal 2 was a game that was filled with constant jokes but did such a good job with the writing that it felt natural. This is more like if you asked a novice fantasy writer to do standup and they failed. Miserably. The game also can't figure out its pacing or scope. In the first 90 minutes or so of this game, there was only one fight, and a lot of walking around. For a long time, the game feels like 30% cutscene, and only 10% combat. There are even times where clearly they wanted to keep telling you more story, but they instead ask you to go to point B where there's a pointless fight with some faceless enemies / creatures along the way just so they can break up the exposition. For trying to set up such a grand world, stages feel fairly small and linear. They could have either reduced the scope and left it a tighter, more traditional FPS campaign, or opened up the world more and tried for an actual open-world setup. Instead, it's this awkward middle ground where you can just teleport between discrete stages and poke around, but there's still a main story line that has larger set pieces. Technically you could walk around instead of fast traveling, but why would you? You'll just run into small nuisance fights to pad things out. Because of the semi-open world aspect, the game also suffers a lot from HUD overload. Hit markers are nice, but you may notice at some point just how much stuff is on-screen at any given time. I got this game at like a 90% discount, and even at that price point, I have a hard time saying that anyone should try it. At the standard AAA price of $70? No one should try it. I feel for the developers on this one. They tried something new and interesting, and were sunk by a few terrible decisions. Whoever did the art direction deserves praise, and I've already said my piece on the writing.
Exactly what you would expect from the description: FPS action but you're basically a hardcore Gandalf. I'm legitimately surprised that this game hasn't gotten better reviewed and more attention. It's a lot of fun with a good enough story to keep you engaged. Probably a fair amount of anti-EA-on-principle going into the reviews if I had to guess.
Fun game. The story is like a young adult novel and the combat is a nice take on FPS games. You get pretty overpowered by the end, even on the harder difficulties, but thats part of the charm.
My fault for not researching how puzzle-intensive this game is. Not a fan of puzzles and so unsurprisingly I hated hard puzzles. I just want to enjoy the combat section. Some puzzles I could ignore because they were not part of the story line but later I had to solve one before moving on. It was too hard for me :( Looking up solution doesn't solve my poor execution of it. Argh, puzzles.
