This game lags terribly. Even on the lowest possible settings. I wanted this game to work, but it just won't. DO NOT BUY, EVEN ON A SALE.
My old pc really struggled to run this so I've revisited it after three years or so with an uber rig. My new rig now runs it with no real problems. It made me miss my old computer... Seriously though, this is pants. Even with the game running what seems to be fairly well its environment (even with the torch) is too dark and all the featureless rooms/corridors look the bloody same making orientation a real chore. I ran around like a headless chicken for a while and then frankly lost patience and gave up. It should be right up my street given the games premise but I can't say I enjoyed my time with this at all.
Epic sh*t!
Abandoned game.
easily one of the worst games ever. years ago i got this and after playing for just 7 minutes i intentionally walked into fire to kill myself and uninstalled right away. today i got back to this game and it's still as bad now as it was back then. after the intro builds up some anticipation you get thrown into the void that is this game. everything is terrible here. gameplay, maps, weapons, enemies. literally everything. every level, every room, every corridor looks like the last one. i spent 3 hours collecting keycards and running to the exits for what felt like 50 times while using the only useful weapon in the game to drill the faces off zombies that spaw right in front of my eyes. and yet it felt like i never left the very first level. the whole game is just one giant copy & paste job. 95% of the rooms are just empty decoys with nothing in them. it's so bad, it's unbelievable. but the best thing is: after doing this keycard & exit chore for 3 hours i died and after loading the game bugged out on me. i couldn't see anything, i couldn't move. nothing at all. i tried loading the last checkpoint and restarting the level. same problem. however checking the game files with steam reset my bloody game progress! usually i complete even bad games to get a complete picture but NOT this time. i'd rather clean a public sh#tter with my tongue than play this trash game all over again. stay the hell away from this turd.
Гра просто жахлива. Не рекомендую. Сюжет абсолютно не зрозумілий, монстри спонаються випадковим чином, часто біля тебе, все темне і тремтить чогось, така задумка. Втрачений час і гроші.
This "game" is a joke : play it ... if you can run it ! First, I tried Cargo 3 on a mid-range laptop from 2011 (core i5 ; 520 mx ; 1366 x 768) and it wasn't possible to have a decent framerate even with all options off so I put it aside for like one or two years... Then I recently changed for strix laptop from 2017 (i7 ; 1050 Ti ; HD) and retried Cargo 3 again. To my horrified surprise, both the framerate and the rendering were ♥♥♥♥♥♥ - whereas other recent and more demanding games like Doom 2016 or Alien Isolation runs smoothly and beautifully. I can't fathom what the developers were aiming at, or why the publisher even released the game ; I have a "Trash" folder at my steam account, this "game" goes straight to it.
