Reviews
Hmmm... So what can I say that hasn't previously been stated by other reviews (JadeNic/TheMeistroHasNothing/MessyPierreGaming), between them they've covered the majority of aspects, the game has 23 monsters to collect. There's no evolving of monsters, the type chart and typing aspects are somewhat minor/irrelevant (if over-leveled) the monsters aren't super interesting nor unique. However with all this in mind I enjoyed my 3 and a half hours in this game, it's nothing strenuous or overly difficult and I can only view this as intended, yes some monsters may have lower rates of appearing, which I certainly experienced (won't spoil which monsters) but again I can only imagine this is intended by the single-developer team. There are several spelling errors in the English version of this game (of which, if the Dev contacts me I will provide corrections to) but this doesn't detract from the game as a whole. It's a simplified Pokemon game with somewhat questionable writing, irrespective of the intent. Overall I certainly enjoyed my time with this and finished it in two sessions, a clear indicator of the enjoyment and engagement the game provides. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Pokemon style game that is dumbed down. It was fun and I would enjoy a follow-up for sure, but it needs to been cleaned up in terms of gameplay, the right stick which is used for viewing angles is far too sensitive, the type balance is completely disregarded by levelling and finally the enemy rareity and placement is a mismatch when there's so few monsters to collect, as a final word, again I would help with correcting any spelling/context errors in the English language version, as I believe this was totally worth the 70-odd pence I spent on this game and again would certainly be interested in any sequel made by the developer. Would recommend but with minor caveats.
I'm only recommending this game because it cost less than 1$ on sale. It's pretty simple, with only 23 monsters that do not evolve, 3 'gyms', and a bunch of bugs and text errors. If you lose against a trainer or gym leader it still counts as a win, which is actually fortunate because otherwise you'd have to grind a crazy amount. There are also some really crude NPC dialogs which are just cringe and makes me think the creator of this game is 14 years old. I 100%'d it in 3.5 hours.
It's a bit bare bones, but for the price it's easy to overlook. There's some amusing writing here and there with the NPCs. Starts with your mother kicking you out of the house and to not return until you've seen everything in the world. And some handsy 'carders' [trainers] who want a piece of you, if you know what I mean. Even some NPCs. The combat is fairly basic and for the most part the starter and the duck took me through the majority of the game without need of the third slot to be anybody of note. Until I got the 'ultimate' one which is kinda op, but by then I was happy since the game was almost over. The only criticisms I have are some camera issues where it'll stutter really quickly, and the controller mapping at least for my DS4 isn't done properly. There are prompts telling you how the controls work but they don't. B is supposed to exit things, but it selects on circle (where B would be). I don't know if Xbox controllers would work fine, but it didn't translate to my Dualshock 4. It still worked just not the way it intended. Though I Never did find the "Run" button. Oh and post battle dialog is a bit long in the tooth and frustrating.
A short bare bones pokemon inspired voxel game that is as basic as it can get from UI to combat and story. With that said it is kind of charming and entertaining enough for what it is with some silly writing and cardmon to collect. I could see the game functioning as the bones to something better down the line but for now its just a little something to spend a few hours with. For a few dollars I can live the with price and content.

To be frank the game doesn't have a lot to it but the game definitely has heart. I got the game on sale for just $1 but even for $3 the game is worth it if you are looking for a short cute pokemon clone. The dialogue is funny if you take the time to talk to the characters. Balance is kind of out the window but that isn't really important since you can just grind with the characters you like just like regular pokemon. Also despite the game telling me to a few times I never once checked the map or the type chart, it isn't really needed. To criticize a few things, not being able to go inside buildings except for the main ones/caves was disappointing but compensating that with dialogue from people inside was a nice touch, I still wish they went the full way with it and had some stuff to do in those houses whether it be just more silly dialogue or actual stuff to do. I also was not a fan of finding your cardmons on the floor and just picking them up. For the starter it is ok but having a few to pick up I thought they would be special but it seems you can just get them later in the game normally which defeats the purpose, maybe making them battles like the last one would make it better. Also allowing copies of the starter to be caught later makes it feel less special too. Final thing was no evolutions, not that I was expecting a high level of depth but when I was seeing early cardmons i was wondering what they would become. Once I realized I was a bit disappointed but it was always nice to see some new designs. I also would have hope this game would let your main cardmon walk behind you but once again, for the price I am not expecting every dream to come true here. Some interactions also felt a bit unfinished, like going back to your mother after you catch them all and beat the final leader I feel like should change the dialogue to something else, and that interaction on the mountaintop for the rare diamond pokemon I thought would lead to a trade but it did not. The legendary one had a surprising ending though so I appreciated that. Also the final gym leader having the same pc behind him you see in every town is a bit lackluster but it still is the same vein as what pokemon does so it doesn't really matter Ultimately the game is great, definitely worth the price for a fun little adventure. Pretty easy to complete and catch em all but also feels satisfying. The difficulty curve is actually decent unless you do excessive amounts of grinding to make it trivial. The achievements are fair. The characters are unique even if some of the dialogue is scuffed and it felt wholesome seeing the credits all go to the same guy as if I had just made my way through a child's presentation. It makes me wish more devs would try to make their own wholesome pokemon clone with nice touches like the old games used to have. The game leaves me wanting more which is a good thing and a tragic thing really.

I had a fun few hours playing this game. It´s definitely up there in quality with some recent popular monster catchers
Im not the kind of person to read into things more than they are worth, I take things at face value. This was super linear and could have been written a bit more PG, but I found it to be a lot of fun! Its essential to keep air on your team until you have the legendary to avoid an insane grind, but I wrote down the two areas I needed to revisit and got lucky, finding every monster along the way. Because of this I was able to get the achievements basically in order. For a few bucks full price, this was absolutely worth my time, seeing as I was able to ignore the awkward "humor."
