Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
CAPTURED 2 is an anomaly horror game with a survival horror twist. Escape an endless hallway by capturing anomalies on camera and surviving deadly entities.
Emily, a teenage girl who goes missing during a series of unexplained disappearances, finds herself trapped in an endless hallway within her own apartment, slowly losing her memory. Strange anomalies begin to appear, and by capturing them, she catches glimpses of her forgotten past.

Deadly entities, taking the form of Emily's childhood toys, roam the loops to stop her from uncovering the truth. Use your flashlight, camera, and the very doors around you to survive each entity’s unique mechanics.
Inspired by analog and found footage horror movies such as Skinamarink, liminal spaces, and early 2000s supernatural horror, CAPTURED 2 offers an eerie atmosphere and unsettling sound design. Experience the horror through the lens of a nostalgic aesthetic, with realistic graphics and immersive camera movement.

8/10 this game freak me out
sucks ass
The concept of the story is great, but the execution not so much. It's conveyed in the MOST cheesy way possible, even ending on a song that sounds like some His Theme undertale type ♥♥♥♥ lmao. The voice acting is pretty bad too, and completely took me out of the game every time I heard someone talking. The gameplay is a BIT better in this one than the first, BUT towards the last 30 minutes of this game all the monsters do not spawn anymore and the gameplay stops. The game then shifts its focus on a ♥♥♥♥ ton of exposition, which is really lame bro. Also the "twist" of the shadow monsters purpose is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. It's corny man son I'm crine. While this sequel does improve in some areas, the first one is still the stronger contender. 3.5/5.
Overall a decent step up from the previous game. More polish, they worked in a story and characters, it's not bad at all. The entities look generally better here, at least in that they don't feel so cheap looking compared to everything else even if they are very cartoonish and over the top in their execution. I think the game could maybe use some more anomalies that maybe change things in smaller ways more regularly perhaps, not sure how many I saw, but it felt like there was a lot more of them that were very obvious. Maybe this changes with Hard and I just got a very easy Normal run, who knows. Performance could've been better, kept seeing drops throughout, nothing unplayable, but just didn't seem to be the most stable and I kept everything on medium. Not sure I love the backroom level additions, like they lead to story that was okay, but only one of them felt like they had an original meaning to the game, the rest just feels like "Hey, backrooms, am I right?". If this continues into the future, drop that, focus more on originality. Overall decent. I'll give Hard a shot for sure.
