A loop of pure anxiety (in the best way possible!) After spending a little over 5 hours stuck in this endless hallway, I can safely say that CAPTURED is an absolute must-play if you love psychological horror. It completely messes with your head. Here is a quick breakdown of why it works so well: The Atmosphere: The game doesn’t rely on cheap, loud jumpscares. Instead, it builds pure paranoia. You are trapped in what looks like a normal house, but every time you loop through the hallway, things start feeling wrong. Spotting an anomaly through your camera lens gives you genuine chills. The Gameplay Loop: The mechanics are simple but incredibly engaging. You have to carefully observe your surroundings, memorize the room layout, and use your camera to catch anomalies—all while dodging sinister entities. You can't just speedrun it; the game forces you to stop, look closely, and second-guess yourself. Performance & Optimization: This is a huge positive for me. I am currently running this on my desktop without a dedicated graphics card, relying entirely on my processor, and the game still runs smoothly. It manages to look terrifyingly realistic and atmospheric without demanding a super expensive PC to run well. Final Verdict: If you want a horror game that actually gets under your skin, pick this up. Do yourself a favor: play it alone, in the dark, with a good pair of headphones. Good luck surviving the hallway!
Honestly such an incredible game. It constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat with anticipation and fear. unlike a lot of horror games, it doesn't have tacky jumpscares or rely on a shock factor. Not to mention the insane graphics and storyline! I can't wait to play the second game. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who asked. :)

This was a pretty freaky game. It genuinely creeped me the hell out and had me on edge the whole time. There were a few moments where the entities pissed me off by no clipping through walls and doors, but it didn't happen enough to ruin the experience. If you liked P.T. or Visage, I definitely recommend giving this game a try. The house and atmosphere gave me the same unsettling vibes. Buy it and try it!
CAPTURED is a psychological horror game that transforms an ordinary apartment hallway into a constantly shifting nightmare, delivering an experience built around vigilance, tension, and uncertainty. Developed by Puck Redflix and published by Puck Games, the title embraces the increasingly popular anomaly-hunting genre while adding its own survival-focused twist. Rather than relying on traditional weapons or action-heavy gameplay, it challenges players to observe every detail of their surroundings, identify abnormalities, and use a camera as their primary tool for uncovering the truth. The game's premise is deceptively simple, yet it effectively creates a lingering sense of fear by making familiar environments feel unpredictable and hostile. The core gameplay revolves around exploring a looping hallway where reality subtly changes with every successful progression. Players must carefully inspect their surroundings for anomalies ranging from misplaced objects and altered room layouts to more disturbing supernatural occurrences. Correctly photographing these abnormalities allows progression, while missed details or poor judgment can have serious consequences. Because anomalies appear in different combinations throughout each playthrough, the game encourages constant attention instead of memorization alone. This procedural approach keeps exploration engaging and ensures that even experienced players cannot completely predict what awaits around the next corner. What separates CAPTURED from many similar horror games is the constant pressure created by hostile entities lurking within the environment. While the search for anomalies requires patience and concentration, moments of immediate danger force players to react quickly and rethink their approach. These encounters interrupt the slower investigative pacing with bursts of genuine suspense, preventing the gameplay from becoming repetitive. The balance between careful observation and survival creates a satisfying rhythm that keeps players mentally engaged throughout the experience. The visual presentation excels by making small environmental changes feel genuinely unsettling. Instead of relying on elaborate monster designs or excessive visual effects, the game uses subtle distortions, lighting variations, disappearing objects, and gradually changing architecture to create an atmosphere of psychological discomfort. Everyday locations become increasingly unfamiliar as reality bends in unexpected ways, making players question whether they have overlooked an important clue or whether the environment itself is manipulating their perception. This understated design philosophy allows the imagination to fill in the gaps, often making the horror more effective than explicit scares. Sound design plays an equally significant role in maintaining immersion. Quiet ambient noises, distant footsteps, unnatural echoes, and sudden periods of silence create a constant feeling that something unseen is nearby. Rather than overwhelming players with loud musical cues, the audio remains restrained, allowing every unusual sound to carry weight. This subtle approach strengthens the psychological horror by making players second-guess their surroundings and heightening anxiety during even the calmest moments of exploration. Replay value is another notable strength thanks to the procedurally generated anomalies and randomized environmental changes. Every run offers fresh combinations of abnormalities, encouraging players to sharpen their observational skills and continue uncovering hidden secrets scattered throughout the looping environment. The game also rewards persistence with achievements and environmental storytelling that gradually reveals pieces of its mysterious narrative without relying on lengthy dialogue or cutscenes. This minimalist storytelling style invites players to interpret events for themselves, making the mystery feel more personal and memorable. CAPTURED is not designed for players seeking a cinematic horror adventure with extensive character development or action-oriented gameplay. Its deliberate pacing and focus on close observation demand patience, while the repetitive structure of revisiting the same hallway may not appeal to everyone. However, these design decisions serve the game's central concept remarkably well, creating a focused horror experience that prioritizes atmosphere over spectacle. Players who enjoy psychological tension, environmental puzzles, and anomaly-spotting mechanics will likely find the gameplay rewarding despite its intentionally narrow scope. Overall, CAPTURED succeeds in turning a familiar setting into a place of relentless paranoia through intelligent environmental design, procedural gameplay, and carefully controlled pacing. Its combination of anomaly detection, survival mechanics, and psychological horror creates an experience that remains consistently tense without depending on excessive jump scares. While its specialized gameplay loop may not satisfy every type of horror fan, those who appreciate atmospheric, observation-driven experiences will discover a thoughtfully crafted title that stands out within the anomaly horror genre. This game gave me nightmares, worse than Cody Rhodes... I am afraid of this. Also, I eat worms and dig in the dirt. This was great fun because I am afraid of this game. I am afraid that the the yellow sleeps in my bed room.
没想到一代和二代的玩法完全是一样的,这部相比于第二部来说确实有些稚嫩了
very nice horror game, with some interesting-ish lore, entities can scare sometimes. ending is meh, but overall gameplay - 10\10
Sometimes I can be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blind
Game rage baited me at first and I'll be honest it was so hard to find some of the minor anomalies, but I genuinely had a lot of fun playing this game. It was fun learning the mechanics through trial and error and the overall aesthetic and vibe of the game kept you feeling suspenseful. I bought the second game because I enjoyed the first so much. I beat the "game" but I still need to try harder levels/go for achievements. REALLY hoping the story continues in the second, I've avoided looking up spoilers because I'm actually kind of invested lol. Anyway if you're a fan of games like observation duty, etc, then you'd probably really enjoy this game and you should pick it up. You'd be a fool not to grab it on sale and imo, it's def underpriced.
