Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Capcom Game
The interface is yuck, and a bit to fond of itself. Too many button-presses to get to anything. You CAN turn off the annoying arcade-box backgrounds and just play on a black screen... I'd recommend this because it makes the play area bigger too. Yeah, it's a cash grab, and if you're serious about your retro arcade games you've probably already got MAME, which doesn't limit you to CAPCOM games... but this is a low cost, low fuss, alternative if you want to play some of your favourite games without mucking about with anything else. If there was a 'meh' instead of a thumbs up/down, I'd probably choose that.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Capcom Arcade Stadium is a nostalgic and thoughtfully crafted collection that brings together some of the most iconic arcade titles in Capcom’s history, packaged in a sleek and modern interface that still manages to capture the spirit of the original coin-op experience. Available on Steam, this compilation spans several decades of Capcom's arcade legacy, offering 32 games that range from early shooters and side-scrolling brawlers to classic fighting games and vertical bullet hell challenges. Whether you're an old-school arcade veteran or a newcomer curious about the roots of many gaming genres, there's something here for everyone. What immediately stands out about Capcom Arcade Stadium is how flexible and polished the entire interface feels. The collection allows you to simulate an arcade environment with adjustable visual filters, customizable cabinet views, and screen rotation support for vertical games. These visual touches help recreate the look and feel of playing on a real arcade machine, while also giving players the freedom to tailor the experience to modern setups. The scanlines, CRT bloom, and screen curvature are all optional but well-implemented, offering both immersion and accessibility. It’s clear the developers went beyond a simple emulator bundle—this is a celebration of the arcade era presented with respect and attention to detail. Gameplay-wise, the collection supports modern conveniences that make it far more approachable than the originals. Save states allow you to drop in and out of any title at will, a rewind function lets you undo mistakes in real-time, and the option to adjust game speed or difficulty means players of all skill levels can enjoy these titles without frustration. These features are particularly helpful in some of the more punishing shooters and beat-'em-ups that were originally designed to drain quarters. Rather than compromising the integrity of the originals, these additions make the experience feel more inclusive and enjoyable for casual and competitive players alike. The structure of Capcom Arcade Stadium is also quite user-friendly. Upon downloading, you get access to 1943: The Battle of Midway for free, offering a taste of what the package delivers. The rest of the games are available in themed bundles—divided roughly by release era—so players can pick and choose which titles to purchase based on their personal interests. Games like Final Fight, Strider, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, and Captain Commando headline some of the bundles, and many of the less famous titles are pleasant surprises. The collection also includes shoot-'em-up gems like Progear and Giga Wing, which are rarely seen in other retro compilations. Even those with deep knowledge of Capcom’s history might find a few lesser-known titles to enjoy. Capcom Arcade Stadium also encourages competitive play with its online leaderboards and timed challenge modes. Each game includes a scoring system that tracks your best performance and compares it to others around the world. This gives even older, linear games a sense of progression and community. Additionally, various limited-time challenges are available, offering players the opportunity to take on modified versions of games under unique conditions—faster speeds, limited lives, or reversed controls. These challenges don’t just serve as gimmicks; they provide a genuine reason to revisit titles long after the first playthrough. However, the collection isn’t without its shortcomings. One noticeable limitation is the lack of online multiplayer. While many of the games support local co-op or versus modes, online play is not available, which feels like a missed opportunity in an age where remote gaming is standard. Moreover, despite the impressive lineup, some fan favorites are absent. Puzzle Fighter, Alien vs. Predator, and certain Darkstalkers entries are notably missing, leaving gaps that more dedicated fans will surely notice. It's understandable given licensing and technical challenges, but still disappointing for those hoping for a definitive Capcom arcade library. In terms of pricing, the flexibility is appreciated. Players can buy bundles or individual games depending on their budget or nostalgia. The game frequently goes on sale, making it one of the most cost-effective ways to legally access these arcade classics. For less than the price of a modern indie title, you can unlock hours of gameplay from Capcom’s golden age, supported by modern features that enhance rather than dilute the experience. Capcom Arcade Stadium ultimately succeeds as both a tribute to and evolution of the arcade experience. It’s more than just a trip down memory lane—it’s a curated collection with thoughtful features that respect the challenge and charm of the original games while making them more accessible to today’s players. The seamless blend of old-school difficulty with modern quality-of-life improvements creates an experience that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Whether you’re chasing leaderboard glory, revisiting childhood favorites, or just exploring the roots of modern game design, Capcom Arcade Stadium offers a satisfying and robust package that honors the legacy of arcade gaming.

(This review is for both Arcade Stadium Editions available as of the original date of publishing this review, so the body of text is repeated for my review of Capcom Arcade Stadium 2.) Capcom Arcade Stadium, both 1 and 2, are solid collections of games that I am not disappointed in owning. I love to play arcade games, but have a difficult time mastering them. With these collections, I can play a wide variety of games - bullet hells, fighting games, platformers, Puyo Puyo-likes, Tetris-likes, Match 3s - and master my timing and skills in these games which I still fare horribly at. Having a rewind/slow-mo/fast-forward feature is very much appreciated, one that I also loved in SEGA Genesis and Mega Drive Classics (which I still own). I'm not very good at Street Fighter, for instance, but I can better practice the Special Moves in slow motion (I have no idea how to execute them properly yet, and I've been playing SF for about three years now). I can also rewind, if a move I make is not well executed. Some games I don't really like, such as Darkstalkers (although I appreciated Felicia's innocent, playful personality), but I'll almost always play a Mega Man game, and I know that there are two in these collections! PLEASE NOTE: One con about this title is that it uses The Enigma Protector, a type of DRM Capcom is using on older titles in place of Denuvo Anti-Tamper. However, I would not be too worried about it, as it is not super aggressive and can be defeated with anti-DRM tools if necessary - let me stress for legal reasons that I am NOT recommending this and do not endorse piracy or cheating, but if you're only playing offline AND not sharing the software, then it can be done - but even with Enigma in the game, all it really is meant to do is prevent cheating in the ranks, so I say leave it be.
