This game is too undercooked to recommend. The controls are borderline unusable, and it's very difficult to tell what's going on. This could be overlooked if it brought something new to the table, but I'm not seeing it. If you were looking for something that plays like Big Pharma, but with interesting twists, keep looking. Or maybe come back when it leaves early access.
A Poorly Designed Big Pharama Clone
https://youtu.be/NSrzGjavcOA + Great concept. Managing a candy factory, making candy, selling candy, I mean it all sounds great. - It seems like the developer was trying to directly copy Big Pharma in terms of concept, design, and gameplay mechanics. If you have not played Big Pharma I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this, and playing that game instead. - Very poor tutorial that will probably leave most people confused - The controls are not very good. Conveyor belts don't line up properly, it's hard to de-select items to click on others, I kept accidentally deleting things by right clicking, and rotating with E instead of R just felt weird. - Visually the game looked pretty "plain".. I was expecting more from a candy factory. - The story was laughably bad, unless it was made by a toddler there's no excuse for how little effort went into it. - Overall it just felt "half-baked", good concept, lots of potential, but in the end it just felt rushed to release.

I hate the controls. It breaks the game for me. It looked so fun to play. Bummer.
Candy Machine runs unacceptably slowly, has extremely poor to outright non-existent tutorialisation, and a UI that doesn't scale with almost any of the available resolutions that it offers in the launcher. The $9 asking price is almost offensive, given that this game's polish (or lack thereof) is something that would still be considered a disappointment of a $0.49 game. It could almost be considered worthwhile for the sub-$1 price point if you REALLY love the genre but have no money and are willing to put up with a mutilated version of it, but for this price just get one of the many, many games that do it much better.
The game is not finished, barely playable in fact nevermind the fact that it is a blatent immitation of Big Pharma!! The employees of positech must be seething at the 5.99 rip off lol
Candy Machine is released! Whaaaa -- how can this be finished it looks so fun but when i got this i was like " yeah they will improve it " now they say it fully released lmao more like "Thanks for all the money now im off to spend it"
Candy Machine is a great idea but poorly made. Very bad story mode. i got this game on sale for 2.69 and even then i still think it not worth the money. it a big Pharama ripoff.
+The idea looks good on paper - It's terrible in reality and really boring - Graphics are not appealing and this game seems to overcomplicate itself - Price
Overall - 1.7/10
overall alright.
Opinion - too confusing and boring. I went through the tutorial - tried getting into it but honestly; it's just a very boring game. $8.99 is way too much for a game like this. I would think 90 or 50 cents would be justified for it at this level - and I got it for free.
