Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

История о парне со свечкой, которая зажгла весь мир.
Candle is one of those cosy indie adventures that feels more like sitting down with a storybook than suiting up for battle. There’s no shooting, no high octane combat, and definitely no blood spillage... just gentle puzzles, exploration, and a charming world built around light and colour. The core mechanic revolves around restoring lost light to a fractured land using magical candles, and it’s surprisingly satisfying. Each area feels like its own little tableau, with simple puzzles that encourage observation and curiosity rather than reflexes or brute force. It’s the kind of game that doesn’t try to stress you out! The challenge comes from creative thinking and appreciating the peaceful pace. The lack of replay incentive after finishing the story is noticeable; once you’ve lit all the candles, the world has told you its tale and politely asks if you’d like to try something else. That’s fine for a short, sweet experience, but it means Candle lives and dies by its atmosphere and initial charm. Fortunately, both are strong enough to make the journey worthwhile. Great for kids. 7/10.

Beautiful point and click adventure. Quirky puzzles and good music.

Fajna gierka, było parę momentów do przemyślenia, ale przyjemnie się grało :)
The art is gorgeous, sadly the gameplay is ruined by the janky mechanics making it frustrating to play. This also makes trying to solve the puzzles and moving around get tiredsome really quickly.
PROS:

Beautiful hand-painted watercolor art style that gives the game a unique identity.
Strong voice acting that helps bring the characters and world to life.
Plenty of funny moments and decent humor throughout the adventure.
Excellent soundtrack that perfectly complements the atmosphere.
Some genuinely creative and clever puzzles.
Lots of amusing and often unexpected ways to die.
Decent story.

CONS:

The controls, character movement, and overall gameplay feel clunky and unresponsive.
Platforming sections are frustrating because precise movement is required, but the controls don't support it well. Many jumps feel unreliable, leading to deaths that feel unfair rather than deserved.
Gameplay becomes annoying surprisingly quickly.
Some puzzles are poorly explained or too vague, making progress feel more like trial and error than problem-solving.
Frequent deaths stop being funny after a while and become frustrating.

OVERALL:
his is one of those games that constantly fights against itself. On one hand, it has a gorgeous hand-painted watercolor world, a memorable soundtrack, solid voice acting, and a surprisingly decent story. There are also a few clever puzzles and plenty of humorous moments that show a lot of creativity and charm from the developers. Unfortunately, all of those positives are overshadowed by the gameplay. The controls are simply not enjoyable to use. Movement feels awkward, platforming sections are frustrating, and many deaths feel like the result of fighting the controls rather than making a mistake. The more the game asks you to perform precise actions, the more its flaws become apparent. I'm usually the type of player who finishes every game I start, no matter how bad it gets. Yet this game tested my patience more than most. I actually put it down multiple times over the years before finally gathering enough motivation to finish it. That's how much the gameplay frustrated me. In the end, the art style, humor, music, and story weren't enough to compensate for the constant annoyance caused by the controls. If you're interested purely because of the unique visual presentation, you might find something to enjoy here. However, if gameplay is your top priority, I'd recommend spending your time on something else.
解谜冒险,画风很好,值得一玩
