Extremely playable for its age, both in terms of hardware compatibility and gameplay ideas- many of which feel so pleasantly fresh. Cannot believe I've never had anyone tell me to play this game before. I am now that person.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Such a good game, I'm really glad I finished it and discovered such a good and well-written story, with many unexpected plot twists. It's exactly what I wanted, a western adventure and a very good shooter. It's like when you see a movie, but the kind that you'll remember for a long time.
So, this is the prequel to the original Call of Juarez. You play as either Ray or Thomas McCall, both of whom have some exclusive weapons and skills. The story isn't bad, and it's not difficult to follow either. Most of the gameplay is similar, but a bit more fluid, in my opinion. Where the original Call of Juarez was a little shaky or rough-around-the-edges, Bound in Blood is improved. There are also a couple parts that are practically open-world, where players can accept side quests to earn cash, which can be used to buy new or better weapons. Speaking of weapons, Ray is better with short-range and close combat weapons, such as pistols, shotguns and dynamite, whereas Thomas is better with bows, rifles and throwing knives. If one of them tries to use a weapon better suited for the other, the game either prevents their use or they're notably worse with them. There are some collectibles to be found in various places, most of them pretty out-of-the-way. These collectibles unlock artwork to be viewed from the main menu. Along with the artwork is either some audio dialogue or written text about the image itself. If you haven't played the first Call of Juarez, you should do so before playing this, even if it is a prequel. Otherwise, if you think you'd enjoy a combat-heavy western FPS, this is a great title for it.
GOED SPEL DEZE WESTERN GAME VEEL ZOEKEN EN ONTWIJKEN VAN VIJANDEN HET IS AL VEROUDERT
if you've played gunslinger first, this will just feel terrible, clunky, and boring. if you haven't, you might enjoy it.
Animal Cruelty. No Thanks. 0/10
Systém duelů je něco příšerného, nelze jím nějak normálně projít třeba ani na desátý pokus v easy modu což není moc zábava
