Call of Duty:World at War - это не просто шутер, а одна из самых сильных игровых реконструкций войны. Здесь нет ощущения беззаботного героизма, а только грязь, жестокость и беспощадность. Звукорежиссура заслуживает отдельного упоминания и уважения: артиллерия, выстрелы, крики и окружающая обстановка работают на атмосферу так, что спустя года игра всё ещё производит немалое впечатление. Режим выживания против орд зомби показался лишним, не заинтересовал. Но это уже дело вкуса. Для тех, кому после прохождения кампании хотелось получить ещё больше контента, такой режим наверняка стал приятным дополнением.
