Amazing remaster. Faithful with nice tweaks and improvements. Especially the opportunity to kill Makarov with the Time Paradox achievement.

Only recommend buying it on sale, the original price is insane for a 19 year old game. It is well made REMASTER however that does exactly what it is intended to do, keep almost everything like it was, just make it more pretty. Also, do not buy it for the MP, apparantly its full of aimbot hackers and hackers who uses the servers to hack your pc (shame). Unlike what seems to be 99% of recent buyers, I had no issues starting the game. As soon as it launched to the menu I got into the settings and turned of the pre-shader settings. Havent had a single issue with the game, but given all the issues I've seen from other not being able to even launch the game it is critic worthy and something to keep in mind. Last thing to bear in mind is that this game EATS performance with the highest settings, in order to play with almost all settings at high/max I had to reduce textures from 16x to 8x. If you prefer overall visual fidelity to textures then that is my recommendation, otherwise go high on the textures and turn off the other effects.

The campaign that changed COD history forever, amazing even to this day. Not much else to say about it, its the campaign from 2007 with updated graphics. Runs great on Linux Mint without any tweaks or turning off any of the games caching settings, infact it ran way worse by doing this, caused constant frame drops.
