a masterpiece everything from the gameplay to the soundtrack is incredible
Absolute masterpiece with so much depth. Studios really don't do games like this anymore
Classic entry in the series, with a phenomenal story and one of the best side game modes ever created. Black Ops is a reminder of what can be done when creativity meets dedication
Vyborne hratelna FPS, zaujimave temy a rozne prostredia z nedavnej minulosti, vzhlad/grafika aj po rokoch vynikajuca.
My all time favorite after Black Ops 2
As far as Call of Duty goes, I rate this a 9.9/10. Campaign: Out of all the games in the Call of Duty series, this is probably the best in the series. The campaign is dark and gritty and really captures the atmosphere of the cold war/Vietnam war quite well. (The only game in the series that is probably a bit darker would be World at War). All the characters are memorable and are given great performances. Garry Oldman does a great job with Reznov. Multiplayer: The art style, theme, and overall atmosphere really fits into the main campaign. The progression is simple yet rewarding and not overly grindy. There's no battle passes shoved into your face or goofy cosmetics from TV show crossovers that make zero sense. Unfortunately the multiplayer scene is dead on PC, even on the Plutonium client. Plus there's cheaters. I would just avoid the multiplayer unless you want to mess around with getting an offline "bots only" mod to work. (I cant give the game a full 10/10 due to this) Zombies: Classic round based zombies. Dark and gritty atmosphere with really nice music. The DLC maps are worth getting on sale. Play on the Plutonium client for the best experience.
Veteran on old black ops campaigns is good is you have a torture fetish
Obra de arte!!
(campaign only review) gameplay was pretty good, you constantly fight in different settings like in vietnam then in russia and theres also some fun vehicle missions. best missions were the hong kong and arctic base mission where you fight the nazis for the last time as a call back to world at war. however some scripted parts were kinda buggy like jumping over obstacles and also the screen shake is almost enough to give you a seizure. the story was not as good as cod WaW, but WaW is mostly real history instead of black ops's original story. the main problem with this game is that it costs $40, double of WaW even though WaW is probably the better game, also even during sale it is only 50% off when it should be like $10 or less.
