Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

man, this game is so tedious. It doesn't even know what it wants to be, but I just can't bring myself to give it a thumbs down

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a long-awaited horror action adventure that blends stealth, exploration, and first-person combat into a deeply unsettling experience. Despite technical flaws and dated visuals, it stands out for its originality and ability to create genuine tension. You play as Jack Walters, a private investigator with a troubled past who arrives in the eerie town of Innsmouth to investigate a missing persons case. What begins as a routine job quickly spirals into something far more sinister. The story gradually builds its sense of dread, drawing you deeper into a world inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s mythos. Even without prior knowledge of Lovecraft, the narrative remains engaging and full of surprises. The game excels at atmosphere. Everything is presented from a first-person perspective with no traditional HUD, relying instead on visual and audio cues. Injuries are shown through blurred vision, labored breathing, and impaired movement, while sanity effects distort your perception during particularly disturbing moments. These systems enhance immersion and make every encounter feel more intense. Gameplay is a mix of stealth, puzzle-solving, and combat. For much of the game, you are unarmed, forcing you to rely on observation and evasion. These sections are often the most effective, especially during scripted escape sequences that create a strong sense of panic and urgency. Combat, when it appears, is less refined. Weapons feel powerful, but enemy behavior can be inconsistent, and firefights are not as satisfying as the buildup suggests. Exploration and puzzles play a significant role, though the lack of a map or objective system can lead to confusion. This design choice adds to the tension but may also frustrate players who get stuck. Similarly, the limited save system increases the stakes but can feel restrictive. Visually, the game shows its age. Character models and textures are rough, and animations can be stiff. However, strong art direction and detailed environments help compensate, creating memorable and atmospheric locations. The sound design is a highlight, with convincing voice work, eerie ambient effects, and well-timed music that reinforces the game’s tone. In the end, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is an ambitious and memorable horror experience. Its technical shortcomings and rough edges are noticeable, but they do little to diminish its impact. For players willing to overlook its flaws, it offers a tense, immersive journey that captures the spirit of Lovecraft’s work and delivers plenty of unforgettable moments.
bug多,游戏无聊,我还以为是射击游戏呢,搞了半天是个步行模拟器,垃圾
Is gud ja.
What’s here is fun enough, if not a little plain when it comes to old horror. I do love the Lovecraftian world, though. Sadly, this game is incredibly bug-ridden to the point where you cannot progress. Sometimes it crashes, sometimes visual bugs stop you, and sometimes it won’t even open! Just a mess, but there is a nice speck of corn in this terrible ♥♥♥♥.
