Cable Guardian

Cable Guardian is a free SteamVR tool that runs in background keeping track of the turning of your HMD, to keep you from twisting your cable into knots. It worked on my HTC Vive system, worked as advertised, sounded ok. Plays audio cues to let you know to turn yourself the opposite way. Try this if you have problems with your cable getting twisted.

Works just like what you'd expect it to do! Works flawlessly with SteamVR in Windows Mixed Reality. Perfect to stop my cable from getting tangled :)

This completely changed VR for me, haven't used in-game turning once since getting it, combine with Kiwi ceiling mounted pulleys to basically be wireless

Must have for anyone looking to go into VR. Unless you want to pay for replacement cables.

Pro version is worth it the custom visual indicators alone. And recently the dev added an experimental feature that allows the indicators to follow your chaperone as opposed to SteamVR's center, so for those who use OVR's Playspace Mover it's so nice.
