3dSen VR

It's exciting at first. Then you realize all the "supported" games, aren't actually supported in the way you want. Most of them are just flat with indentions into the "screen" to appear 3D. Just a trick of negative space. It isn't actually 3D, nor does it project the worlds like advertised. Just refunding at this point. Maybe revisit in a few years if games are ACTUALLY supported properly.

This emulator is fantastic, and its 3D feature is nothing short of impressive. Pairing it with Virtual Desktop's pass-through mode to create an AR experience is a game-changer. Watching DK Junior climb vines in 3D right in my room is incredibly cool! That said, my one complaint is the existence of two separate versions of the emulator. I initially bought the non-VR version, only to discover later that I needed the VR version to access the VR feature. The VR version includes both VR and non-VR modes, which makes the standard version entirely redundant. I wish I’d known this upfront—I would have skipped the regular version and gone straight for the VR one.

im gonna give this a positive review bc the pros definitely outweigh the singular issue i have with this, so lets just get into that. + it runs great + looks really cool in vr (played on an old dusty-ass oculus rift with a cpu that was NOT built for vr) + all the cool features of the non-vr mode are here and accounted for the bad: - its a separate purchase from the main version. not even as dlc, as an entirely separate TITLE. cmon man. thats some scummy-ass bethesda ♥♥♥♥ right there. im willing to play devils advocate and admit its a really good piece of software and was probably worth the purchase, but cmon man. thats just dirty.

What an awesome thing to be able to enjoy these games again in VR, I am really loving this! No way around it, this is seriously cool! I really hope this kinda thing continues! I cant wait to play SNES the same way!

This is very cool , and well worth the money. I had no idea playing Duck Hunt, and Wild Gunman in VR with a virtual NES light gun would be so amazingly fun. I hope this dev continues to add games.

This is amazing. Great way to modernize some retro games with newer hardware like vr and then with the added use of virtual desktop, you can remove the background and go full AR.

If you look at this as a NES emulator in VR you will leave disappointed. This is a NES game player with a unique view that has a limited selection of games but it grows and the ones that are working are a decent amount of "the classics" that you will want to play. There is a community of players that have adapted other NES games, developer seems to still update the game which is a huge plus so you don't feel that you are buying something old and forgotten, this one is still active. The only limitation for this application is it's price. There is a novelty quality to what is going on here, but if you still enjoy playing these NES games genuinely, then this is a really great way to enjoy them. The app could use a facelift in the menu department as far as looks, but this doesn't take away from any game play what so ever as you never will see the menu in game, just when starting up and selecting things it is odd to be in a virtual environment looking a menus from a DOS/BASIC era. If you like emulation and seeing cool technology / gaming things going on in the virtual reality world, pick this up no question. You may not always use this app, but when you do you'll love it.

This is absolutely amazing, and I want more! I would love to see this go back farther to Atari, and forward to SNES and Genesis! If you are any level of NES fan, this is a whole new level, and absolutely worth it.

Are you a retro purist who wants to play the originals "the way they were meant to be played"? But also you're a VR enthusiast, and flat just doesn't hold your attention anymore? Is there a way to solve this impossible contradiction, for example by spending a small amount of money on Steam? (stop reading reviews and play this already)
