[h3][u]Shiba[/u][/h3]
I just finished Shiba's route according to my friend's recommended order, I played his first, and I think he is a great man just a little rude and [spoiler]horny sometimes (but only to the woman he loves, which is the MC/player [y/n])[/spoiler]
I also cried at [spoiler]REGRET END[/spoiler], Shiba is such a great guy but at the same time, [spoiler]♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥[/spoiler]
Yes, it also does comes to me that Shiba is actually a [spoiler]yandere[/spoiler]
He is one of my most favourite character, since I have yet to finished everyone's route, I will put him second first. As due to outlook, Majima & Mizuhito is more my type.
[h3][u]Fujita[/u][/h3]
A great and loyal man, best guy after Shiba, imo. He is also extremely loyal, kind, diligent and hardworking, despite [spoiler]the bankruptcy of MC's/(y/n's) family[/spoiler]; he never leaves MC's/(y/n's) side; and also helps with [spoiler]managing the finances, and writing back letters to prolong the time to return the debt.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]An incredible horny man, on the good ending, after marriage, this man has sex with MC/(y/n) every night. And if you guys remember, Kyoko did mentioned that he is well-endorsed. [/spoiler]
Honestly, I hate [spoiler]Forever a servant[/spoiler] the most, as the MC/(y/n) [spoiler] in the end marrying Shiba, mainly to torture Fujita, and always making him crawl on fours like a dog, throwing sugar into the air and make him jump and catch it like a dog, and also making him beg for a sexual intercourse[/spoiler] Utterly, disgusted by this.
[spoiler] A private club [/spoiler], this ending makes me feel sad and neutral at the same time for both Mizuhito and MC/ (y/n) as [spoiler] the whole rich societies know that they are in big debt, so they actually are interested in the both of them, because they are known to be extremely good looking, and especially MC/ (y/n) who is known to have extremely wonderful scent. So, Mizuhito wanted to protect MC/ (y/n), his sister; he goes to prostitution alone, and earning money to pay off debts, and tell the butler and Kyoko not to let MC/ (y/n) know about it. Later, the cat is out of the bag, MC/ (y/n) found out and she told Kyoko to also let her go into the prostitution job as she doesn't want to be protected anymore. Therefore, now she is one of the prostitute there as well. [/spoiler]
But [spoiler]Mizuhito rather be a prostitute than letting MC/ (y/n) marry Shiba who can pays off their debt immediately and also still live a good life; this proves that he is a good brother, who doesn't want his sister to be married off unhappily. [/spoiler] However, for MC/ (y/n); [spoiler] rather be a prostitute than marrying Shiba is insane. [/spoiler]
After completing Fujita's route, honestly I think [spoiler] all of them, including Fujita should go to therapy. The only sane one here is only Shiba, despite him being a yandere in his own route. [/spoiler]
[h3][u]Hideo[/u][/h3]
Honestly, when I first saw this man, I've never really like him, even now. I do admit that his eyes is the most beautiful amongst the others, at least imo. However, I can't stand that hairstyle of his. It's like he used a whole tube of hair gel to make his hair stick to the head.
Now onto his personality, I understand that Yuriko's mother looks down on him and his family, and constantly make his mother quite upset, but that doesn't mean he is allowed to lash out on Yuriko.
Another thing is, I get that he loves Yuriko a lot, and even though he has a fiance, he still cheats on her, and even willing to go to Siberia for war, so that his fiance's family can called off the wedding, as most woman is hard to get remarried when their husband died, moreover if they did a biology study on a bed together (A.K.A How to make a baby). But before he even goes out on her war, and his engagement being called off, he took the action to steal Yuriko's first time studying on biology. [strike] wtaf? [/strike] What if he died in the war? What if she does not know Shiba, and Shiba is not in love with her so much that he keeps on insisting her to be his wife? She would be shamed even more if words gets out that she gained knowledge on biology first with one's woman fiance, and not even being married.
Hideo is a VERY selfish man, and a hypocrite. Comes to think of it, I remember where Shiba invited Yuriko to Kyoko's party on tasting the tiger's meat, at the same time, Yuriko's first got the information on Hideo's fiance. Hideo's fiance was not feeling well, so he escorts her to a hotel room, but since they are not married, Hideo told Yuriko that she can't be in the same room with his fiance as they are not yet officially married.
Yes, I understand that it is mostly becuz Hideo does not love her at all, that's why he does not have the urge to study biology with her. And if Hideo really do love Yuriko very much, he SHOULD NOT study biology with Yuriko before he went for war.
In the one of his BE, [spoiler] he came back alive, but his engagement was not called off due to his fiance's persistence. But Yuriko will still meet up with Hideo from time to time. Yuriko even asks Shiba about the time where he promised her that, "as long as she is married to him, Shiba, he would not mind if she has a lover." She even got the guts and face to say that, makes me hate Yuriko even more.[/spoiler]
[spoiler] Shiba and Hideo's fiance deserves better. [/spoiler]
I guessed my sixth sense does not fail me, I sure know that I won't ever like this guy.
[h3][u]Mizuhito[/u][/h3]
His voice sounds familiar, so I looked it up, and I knew it, he shares the same VA as Laito/Raito Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers.
He is a very nice "brother" or to say || cousin(?) / lover||, since Yuriko's family were in debt and fell into bankruptcy, he went out every night to || sell out his bodt to many women || to earn some money, so that Yuriko still can live a somewhat decent life.
His personality are somewhat more towards my dream man, as I really love gentle and sweet man who speak in a soft and calming voice.
However, it does not change the fact that I still find it a bit off-putting where they live together from young as siblings, but Mizuhito has feelings for her from the start and Yuriko loves him back.
Sometimes, I just ignore the fact that they are "siblings".
[h3][u]Kyoko[/u][/h3]
Kyoko's back story is very sad, the reason why she became the way she is today becuz she was [spoiler] raped [/spoiler] by man, and I suspect that this is also the reason that she is [spoiler] bisexual [/spoiler].
In her route, Yuriko was [spoiler]sexually assaulted twice by Saburo, Kyoko was furious and genuinely care and feel sad for Yuriko, hugging her and invite her to her house so that Saburo can't attack her any longer. [/spoiler]
[h3][u]Majima[/u][/h3]
If only talking about his face, he is more towards my type of man, but his personality sucks. I understand that he has a bad back story but it does not mean that he can do that to Yuriko in some of the BEs.
I love his HE tho it is sad that they are unfortunately [spoiler]blood-related, [/spoiler]. which makes my skin crawls.
[h2] Overall Opinion[/h2]
I do think it is worth it to pay at a high price as the art is great, the story line is superb; and I have a roller coaster of emotions playing this. Each and every character has VAs, including the side character; unlike some other visual novels who doesn't has a VA for side characters or maybe only a little screaming voice but the line of the side character is long (whispers: [spoiler] def not , TOWN OF NIE [/spoiler])
Therefore, if you are wondering whether to purchase it or not despite it being a digital and [spoiler] censored [/spoiler], I would recommend you to buy it. It is indeed a good read. Best buy of the year for me.
