I really wanted to like this game. It has beautiful artwork and some really high profile VAs. The price point is a bit high (almost on par with console otome) but again, I am willing to give anything a try. I struggled to finish this game. Its not overly complex or long (It took me about 5ish hours to get 100% achievements) but the translation is very poor. Frequent typos, missing letters or words and lack of punctuation. The infamous "hat..." will live rent free in my head for quite some time, if I'm being honest. Look, I can forgive a typo or a missed letter here or there but when you're charging premium ($51.99 CAD) I expect the translation to also be top quality. This game felt almost machine translated at times. When you get the occasional sentence that doesn't have any grammatical errors, the translation would feel awkward and stilted to read. Phrasing was poor (look at the screenshots provided on the store page for proof). Can you get the gist of what is being said? Sure, yeah. But it could have been so much better and I lament that we got this sloppy excuse for a $40+ CAD game. I do not recommend unless its on a steep sale, you're a major fan of the franchise or you're playing this in JP. Operahouse needs to do better going forward, especially if they continue to ask people to put out a lot of money for their games.

The art style is AMAZING, I love the majority of the plot, the character design is really good, I don't feel bored at all... but I guess it'd be hard to be bored with a game that is short compared to other otome games. For example, this game is £40 but takes about 5-10 hours to complete. With other games that are £30, like TAISHO X ALICE Heads And Tails and Gensho Manege (sorry if I am mispelling these), they take over 30-40+ hours to complete. I cannot stand the homewrecking heroines. There are 3 volumes in this game, and each one has a new way to homewreck the relationship. The first heroine homewrecks TWO relationships. The second heroine tries to ruin your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wedding day. There is no third heroine, so for the third volume I was excited to enjoy some peacefulness. Nope, there's now a love potion and your husband falls in love with the second heroine! Amazing! The cheating and miscommunication tropes are driving me insane. I love mostly everything about this game, but the hopeless romantic in me is so turned off with all of this. The main character is also stupid. A stupid ditzy main character who holds no grudges to the homewreckers, and doesn't mind that they constantly try to ruin her life and steal her husband. It's aggrivating. This game is so infuriating, it's the first time I've had to stop playing just to leave a review to warn other hopeless romantics that this isn't as romantic as you think it is!

The game has some beautiful art, but as it is a faithful adaptation of the light novels, the story only really has one ending. The story follows the story of Tiararose & Aquasteed and is made of pure fluff. Your choices in the game only give you the option to see some additional scenes rather than affect the ending. The game is quite short—I managed to 100% it in about 5 hours (another review online said it took them about 9 so it likely will depend on your reading speed)—which can make it difficult to recommend at its price point. However, if I consider it as an alternate way to read the first three volumes of the light novels, the price can be forgiven a little bit. Regarding the translation, there are occasional errors, but nothing too major. hat... made me laugh a bit. If a short, teeth-rotting sweet story is what you’re in the mood for & the price to playtime ratio doesn’t concern you, I recommend getting the game! Otherwise, I recommend keeping an eye on it to go on sale if the game sounds like something you'd enjoy!

Alright. Let me offer my two cents, as someone who simply loves to collect and play dating sims regardless of quality. - beautiful artwork; literally eyecandy - great voice acting (as expected) - adorable, enjoyable story with no angst or real consequences (choices don't matter, but instead they unlock alternative scenes); the worldbuild is pretty fun and the whole game gives a carefree fairy tale vibe overall - the music is fine but not much; i personally didn't pay much attention to it - the characters are fun and lovely (a little inconsistent sometimes in certain scenes only, but not in a dramatic way, given the story itself doesn't try to be dramatic or too heavy) - interface on PC is lazy but it's playable enough - translation and proofreading might be the main issue here but still readable (though it feels rather cheap and lazy which might not do the story and its characters justice, sadly. the story felt pretty trivial sometimes because of the translation being off here and there and i suspect it could also be a main reason why the characters might feel inconsistent sometimes) - completion time is decent; the story isn't that long but the pacing is alright My conclusion: If you value writing quality, in depth storytelling and character writing or a heavy plot, I don't recommend this game. It's very relaxed and rather whimsical, instead. Give it a try if you want to read something lighthearted, sweet and even silly at times. I personally really love the main cast, I found them pretty interesting and fun to read about. For me, it was an overall really cute read and I am glad I got to play this. I'll remember these characters fondly. <3

'The Villainess is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbouring Kingdom' is a very straight-forward otome-style game. It has an intriguing story-line and the artwork in the cut scenes is drop dead gorgeous. I, personally, enjoy the game, but as with everything, there are a few issues that I would like to address to possible players before they dive right in. 1. Translation issues. There are many points in the game where incorrect grammar is seen- and by many I mean every other line. It is easy enough to grasp the concept of what they are saying but often times it can seem a little... off, and can get a bit annoying. If this doesn't bother you then you are all good. 2. Compared to some otome games there is a very limited romance range. It is clear from the beginning who the main couple for the game is and it rarely varies in romance throughout the story. Personally, I fins the male lead quite attractive, so this doesn't bother me, but if you are looking for a game with a bunch of equally romance-able characters, this isn't for you. 3. I hate to say this but some of the characters can seem air headed or just plain dumb at times. I understand that this occurs in most story-based games, but seeing it occur frequently in characters that appear on screen often can become quite tiring. If none of these factors bother you, it is a really good game and I thoroughly enjoy playing the story line and seeing the relationship develop. A little pricey, sure, but if you are willing to pay the price, you get a good story and even better artwork.

If you're planning on getting this game wait for a sale. I do not recommend paying for this in full price. The game has stunning visuals, is fully voiced, plenty of interesting characters and has it's cute moments. Although there is a lot of things that I adore about this VN, the issue lies with the lack of content. I was able to go through the main story (3 Volumes) and bonus stories (4 characters) in a span of 5 hours, which is not a lot for a VN at it's full price. Characters: Just a disclaimer this is not those otome games where you can choose who to date. There is already a set male lead, but despite that I still had fun reading the exchange between ML and FL. Their relationship is adorable. I love a ML that dotes the FL. Most of the characters have distinct traits, but ultimately they all suffer from the lack of depth. They all have the potential to have chapters dedicated to their background story, but the game does not let you get to know any character to that level. Art: The art is the best part of the game! All the visuals are breathtaking everyone is so vibrant and gorgeous Story: If you enjoy a short easy to follow Villainess Transmigration story this is one of them. The game maybe short, but it still invokes a level of emotion especially on [spoiler] chapter 3 [/spoiler]

本気でお勧めしない 立ち絵、スチル、声優さんはすごくいいと思います。 でも、システムが最悪です。 まず、既読スキップがありません。スキップはボタン長押し。未読だろうが既読だろうが押してる限り止まりません。 選択肢ジャンプなんて機能もありません。 バックログなんて本当に文章の履歴でしかない。シーン巻き戻しや音声再生もありません。 セールで買いましたがそれでも4000円。はっきり言って1000円くらいじゃないとお勧めできないです。 他にもスチルや表現でまともに作成していない部分のある作品です。素材はいいのにシステムなどで台無しにしてます。 この値段でよく売ろうと思えるなという感じで、原作を知らない私でも憤りました。

I played this on the Steam Deck where the game works perfectly well. It does not have cloud saving sadly, as my play through and saves weren't carried over when I booted the game on PC. The story is very simple enough, I cheated a little bit since I read the manga sometime ago. But I came here for the fluff, Prince Aqua, and Keith - the game did not disappoint. As someone who plays a lot of heavy, story-driven games, this was a nice palate cleanser. The translation patch worked out nicely, but it did have some few typos which isn't really something that ruins your day.
